Wovenwar to Officially Head Out on Tour

Along with the announcement, they revealed who will be hitting the road with them: Black Label Society.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z to Go “On the Run”

Remember that Jay-Z and Beyoncé tour rumor we were on the fence about a few months ago? Well, maybe we should have listened for once because the tour has now been confirmed to be real. Looks like fans of the power couple will need to cancel their upcoming Summer plans because the Carters are taking over.

A few weeks ago, rumors began about this massive tour, but the only thing confirmed was plans to have Jay-Z’s “Made in America” Festival have a version of it take place in Los Angeles. Now, the power duo will be taking the act on the road. The “On the Run” joint tour is fitting named after, we hope, their “Bonnie and Clyde ’03” track.

The 16-date tour will begin in Miami at Sun Life Stadium on June 25 and hit up cities such as Philadelphia,  Chicago, Atlanta,  San Francisco and several more.

Good news for Beyoncé’s fan club, The Beyhive; they get first dibs on tickets beginning their pre-sales at 8 a.m. tomorrow.

You Me At Six to Reschedule North American Tour

Fans of the United Kingdom outfit, You Me At Six will have to wait a little longer for the band to make their official headlining tour debut in North America. It was revealed yesterday that the band would have to postpone their upcoming North American tour due to frontman Josh Franceschi suffering from a serious case of vocal exhaustion.

According to the singer’s doctor, he would need to be put in vocal rest which would take him off the stage for a minimum of four to six weeks. Instead of cancelling the dates, the band have promised fans in North America that the dates will be rescheduled for sometime in September. Virginia-based The Downtown Fiction were scheduled to open for the band during their trek, but now it is unknown if they will be joining them in September for the rescheduled dates.

The statement from the band which can also be found on their Facebook page can be read here:

Following more than a year of straight touring, Josh is suffering from vocal exhaustion and is under doctor’s orders to rest his vocal cords for a minimum of 4-6 weeks. Matt, Max, Chris, Dan, and of course, Josh, are therefore sorry and disappointed to announce the unavoidable postponement of their upcoming North America Tour, which was due to start in LA on April 21st. Given Josh’s need for rest, the band is unable to perform at the high energy level for which they’re known.

ALL VIP & GA tickets for the tour will be valid for the rescheduled shows, which will now run from September 15th through October 20th. The new shows will be announced within the next 7 days.

For further updates stayed tuned to and Thanks in advance for your patience and look forward to seeing you North American fans come September.”

Ed Sheeran Announces Solo Headlining Tour

New songs, new record, a Saturday Night Live performance and now an arena tour. Ed Sheeran is going to be one busy man for the rest of 2014.

After being on the RED tour with close friend Taylor Swift for what seems an eternity, Sheeran has announced that he will finally be heading out on his own on a North American tour. The tour is slated to begin on August 22 in Seattle at the Wamu Theater and will visit several other locations such as Boston and Atlanta in the United States as well as Vancouver and Toronto in Canada. The tour will then wrap up its time on September 18 in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre.

At present time, there are only 15 dates that have been revealed, but there will reportedly be more dates revealed soon. Tickets for the currently revealed dates are scheduled to go on sale on April 26.

Sheeran’s tour is in support of his upcoming sophomore album, X which is scheduled to be released on June 23. Lead single “SING” has already infiltrated the radio and most likely to be second single, “Don’t” has already made its own debut at this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live

While this move might seem a little bit of a bog step for the British import, Swift is one person who wasn’t shock about his move from opening act to starring attraction. In an interview with Billboard, Swift predicted his big move.

“A few months ago we were in Germany and Ed came along to surprise the crowd with his song ‘I See Fire,’ which is a huge hit there. It was the first time he’d played with a full band, and I saw this spark in his eye. I have a feeling the production of his live show will expand over the next few years, and I can’t wait to see it every step of the way.”

Eminem and Rihanna Announce “Monster” Tour

Eminem and Rihanna teased last month that they would be heading out on a tour together, but the announcement was just that, a tease.

Today, it was confirmed the two music powerhouses will be joining forces and heading out on a co-headlining “Monster” tour (not to be confused with any of Lady Gaga’s tours). The tour is slated to begin its trek on August 7 with a show at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles followed by a stop at New York’s Metlife Stadium on August 16. The tour will wrap up in Eminem’s hometown of Detroit at the Comerica Park on August 22.

If you believe what reports are claiming then the tour stops will coincide with Eminem’s somewhat confirmed appearance at Lollapalooza during the weekend of August 1st-3rd as well as his appearance at British Columbia’s Squamish Valley Music Festival due to take place during the weekend of August 8th-10th.

Fans with American Express card can qualify to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning on March 20 while a Facebook pre-sale will begin on March 22. Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden Team Up for Upcoming Tour

Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden announced during the weekend that the two bands will be heading out on tour. Speculation about the tour began when Spin Magazine asked Soundgarden if the rumors were true during an interview at South By Southwest last week. The band side-stepped the question which typically means that the rumors are true.

This past weekend, the rumors had been confirmed when the bands both announced that the tour was definitely happening. The official announcement is set to happen later today, but the tour dates had already been released when the confirmation had been made.

Nine Inch Nails will be going from one big tour to another. The Trent Reznor-led group are currently wrapping up an Australian tour with Queens of the Stone Age while Soundgarden just finished performing at the inaugural iTunes Festival here in the United Stated during SXSW. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of Nine Inch Nails’ The Downward Spiral and Soundgarden’s Superunknown.

Long live the grunge.
