Sum 41 announce ‘No Personal Space’ spring 2019 tour dates

If you’re the kind of person who needs personal space when you go to a concert, then Sum 41’s upcoming trek may not be for you. On Monday (March 11), the Canadian band announced plans to embark on a short, United States-centric tour in the springtime. Taking to social media, the group revealed their 17-stop tour itinerary for April and May of this year which will include performances at venues across the country.

Dubbed the “No Personal Space” tour, the trek will include stops in San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, Nashville, Boston, and more. The forthcoming outing begins on April 27 at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City and concludes a month later on May 26 at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago.

“This spring we’re bringing it back to where it all began, in the clubs,” the group posted on Twitter.

“Join us for the ‘No Personal Space Tour,’ an intimate club tour across the US in April & May.”

In addition to the intimate venues, the act also revealed that they will perform at a number of United States Air Force Bases throughout the U.S. while on this tour.

Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday, March 15, at 10 a.m. local time. In addition to general tickets, the band is also offering VIP packages which will include a Q&A session with guitarist Dave Brownsound and bassist Cone McCaslin.

Sum 41’s last studio album was their not-a-comeback album 13 Voices.
