Well, guys, it looks like this summer is about to get a whole lot sadder.
On Tuesday (Feb. 25), the people behind last year’s Sad Summer Festival announced that the traveling music festival will once again hit the North American touring circuit for its second year.
This year’s festivities will find everyone’s favorite sad boys All Time Low headlining every single day on the newly announced roster. Joining All Time Low on the road this summer will be The Story So Far, Movements, The Maine, Yours Truly, Grayscale, and Destroy Boys.
“Rock n Roll summer camp just hits a little bit different when you’re with your friends,” All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth said in a press statement. “This tour is going to be something special, something we’ve all been chasing. Can’t fucking wait.”
The 18-stop excursion will include shows in Anaheim, Phoenix, Houston, Orlando, Pittsburgh, Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia, Chicago, and more.
Sad Summer Fest 2020 kicks off on July 17 at Papa Murphy’s Park at Cal Expo in Sacramento and concludes a month later on Aug. 15 at The Rave in Milwaukee.
Pre-sale tickets for the summer-centric trek are currently available for purchase here using the code word SAD. General ticket sales begin this Friday, Feb. 28, at noon ET.
The Sad Summer Fest 2020 lineup announcement comes on the heels of All Time Low announcing the forthcoming release of their eighth studio album, Wake Up, Sunshine. Due out in early April, the four-piece has already released two tracks from the 15-song record; “Some Kind of Disaster” and “Sleeping In.”
Last year, the inaugural Sad Summer Festival launched to fill the void left by the Vans Warped Tour. The Maine played last year’s tour along with Mayday Parade, State Champs, The Wonder Years, Mom Jeans, Stand Atlantic, L.I.F.T., and Just Friends.
