The MTV Video Music Awards have come and gone with a whole mess of scandals that people and the FCC are still in the middle of talking about. For us, we are pretty okay with putting that entire show in the deep, dark, crevasses of our mind, honestly.

Today, MTV’s other music oriented award show from across the pond revealed its list of nominees. The MTV Europe Music Award revealed that almost like a flashback, Macklemore with Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake have once again come out on top with the most nominees for the European moon man; they each come away with five nods.

Timberlake has been nominated for Best Male Artist, Best Live,  Best Look, Best U.S. Act and Best Video. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis follow in suit with nods in the categories for Best New Artist, Best Hip-Hop, Best Song, Best U.S. Act and Best World Stage Prizes.

Coming in second place in the most awards of the evening would be Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke; all who are nominated for four awards a piece.
