When Suicide Silence’s frontman, Mitch Lucker, passed away last year, their fans were first mourning his death and then began to wonder what would become of the California-based band.
After taking what was almost a full year off to figure out how to continue, they eventually returned with the news that they would be releasing new music and would continue as a band with a new vocalist, Hernan “Eddie” Hermida of All Shall Perish.
Today, the band released a 30-minute documentary about their late frontman which includes early footage of the band during their career as well as interviews with Lucker’s parents and pictures of when he was younger. The full documentary can be seen below.
As for Suicide Silence, the band have confirmed that they would be releasing the footage of Mitch Lucker’s memorial show titled, Ending is the Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show, on CD/DVD/Blu-ray on February 18, 2014. As for new music, they have also confirmed that their fourth studio album is scheduled to be released sometime during the Summer of 2014.
