Six months after the release of their fourth studio album, Sleeping with Sirens has returned with a new music video for one of the tracks featured on Madness. The music video is for the song “Better Off Dead” which finds the Orlando-based band playing inside what appears to be a haunted house. The video begins with a woman going into the house that, according to a newspaper, is slated to be condemned. Lets just say, it feels like something you might see (or have seen) on Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.
Once the main character enters the house, things seem to go bump in the night (or day) as she begins to feel creepy crawlies possess the house. First she spots a long-haired person similar to the girl from The Ring in the bathtub. Then, a creepy hand reaches out from the dark and touches her shoulder. But if that wasn’t enough, the door to the basement just conveniently opens behind her while she gets possessed by spirits.
After enduring all the creepiness, the character does exactly what any sane person would do; get the hell out of the house.
All we have to say is, thanks for the Halloween gift a month early, guys.

Sleeping with Sirens wrapped up their “We Like it Loud Quiet Acoustic Tour” with The Summer Set and Nick Santino earlier this week (June 22).
While Sleeping with Sirens were in the middle of their iHeartRadio social media takeover, the band called their fans to assemble to unlock the music video for one of their new songs, “The Strays.”
In no time at all, the fans managed to unlock the video which can be seen below.
The music video features the band walking around a town gathering the “troublesome” teenagers in town who are doing what kids do best; hanging out at junkyards, getting in trouble with police officers, setting things on fire, and making out with their significant others in the rain.
One by one, the troublesome teens begin to join the band as they make their way through the town until they reach an area where all their instruments are set up to put on a show.
We’re not sure how their instruments are just conveniently there, but we’ll say it was some “movie magic” or “music video magic” in this case.
“The Strays” is taken off of the Orlando-based band’s recently released album Madness which was released in March through Epitaph Records.
Sleeping with Sirens will be heading out on tour again in June for their “We Like it Quiet Acoustic Tour” with The Summer Set and Nick Santino, formerly of Rocket to the Moon.
Sleeping with Sirens’ new album Madness was officially release yesterday with the band doing a lot of promotional work in their hometown of Orlando in support of it.
From heading to the local Best Buy to sign a lot of CDs and visiting fans that happen to live in the city at home to becoming part-time Hot Topic employees, they took the phrase “promotional tour” to a new level.
For those who have not had the chance to head out to their local CD selling store or even download it from the several digital music stores available, the band have now put the complete album online for streaming.
Check out the full album below which features several song likes “Kick Me,” “Go Go Go,” “Fly,” and others they released in anticipation of March 17.
If yesterday’s packed day wasn’t enough, the Florida boys will be heading across the pond with Pierce the Veil and Issues for the European leg of their co-headlining world tour.
Madness is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s Feel.
Billboard exclusively premiered the new song and while doing so had the chance to speak to frontman Kellin Quinn about the direction of the band’s fourth studio record and first since their departure from Rise Records.
“I wanted to make a record that reminds me of the album that kind of inspired me to make the type of music we make and to be part of the scene we’re in.”
As for what artists influenced him the most? Muse, Fall Out Boy, Finch, and the Starting Line. Sounds like 2005 is alive and well with the guys from Sleeping with Sirens.
Sleeping with Sirens’ new album, Madness is due out next Tuesday (March 17) through Epitaph Records.
Recently, the Orlando band wrapped up the North American leg of their co-headlining world tour with Pierce the Veil. The tour is slated to hit Europe next week as they begin the European leg on March 20 in Belgium. The tour will reportedly wrap up on April 11 in London.
