On Thursday (Sept. 28), the California singer unveiled plans to hit the road in early 2018 in support of her fifth studio album, Lust for Life. The upcoming tour has been named the ‘LA to the Moon Tour’ and will find the songstress touring across North America. The tour will officially kick off on Jan. 5, 2018 at the Target Center in Minneapolis and conclude almost two months later on Feb. 28, 2018 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu.

Hitting the road alongside Del Rey for the winter tour will be Jhene Aiko and Kali Uchis. Tickets for the upcoming tour are currently available on Del Rey’s website.

Prior to hitting the road in the new year, the songstress will end her 2017 touring schedule with an appearance at the Tower of Song: A Memorial Tribute to Leonard Cohen at Montreal’s Bell Center on Nov. 6. Lana Del Rey drops The Weeknd collaboration

Lana Del Rey has officially returned with another brand new song from her highly participated fifth album. On Wednesday (April 19), the New York songstress released her second single from her upcoming new album, Lust for Life. The track, which is the album’s title track and features the Weeknd, premiered on MistaJam’s BBC Radio 1 show. During the world exclusive, Del Rey talked with the DJ about the new track even discussing how she managed to get the “Starboy” crooner on the track and how the album’s tracks will sound different from one another, giving it a “bigger sound.”

Listen to Del Rey’s complete interview here while the video for “Lust for Life” can be seen above.

In a separate interview with Courtney Love for Dazed magazine, Del Rey spoke a lot more about the new album and how creating “Lust for Life” was different from any of her previous tunes.

“It was kind of Rubik’s Cube. I felt like it was a big song but..it wasn’t right,” she admitted in the interview to the Hole frontwoman. “I don’t usually go back and re-edit things that much, because the songs end up sort of being what they are, but this one song I kept going back to.”

In addition to using her own judgement for the song, she also joined forces with The Weeknd after consulting Swedish pop producer Max Martin. Working with the Canadian singer was no random partnership; Del Rey had previously worked with him for on two of his own songs “Prisoner” from Beauty Behind the Madness and “Stargirl Interlude” on hid recently released Starboy. To read the complete interview head on over to Dazed magazine here.

“Lust for Life” is the second single from Del Rey’s upcoming new album, Lust for Life. Back in February, she released the record’s lead single, “Love.” Though fans have been given a track listing and title for the impending record, Del Rey has yet to confirm when the album will be released.

This past weekend, she surprised fans by writing a new song after performing at Coachella. She quickly filmed herself singing it and uploaded it onto Instagram.
