Anberlin Release “Stranger Ways” Video

Anberlin’s new album Lowborn is due out tomorrow, which for fans of the Florida-based band is bittersweet in a  way.

This new album, will be the last that the band will be releasing before they disband, but that also means some new music unlike what some other bands that we like have done in the past.

For the last week, Anberlin had given fans the chance to listen to Lowborn a week ahead of time on Pandora. The album sounds like what happens when you combine their musical career into ten tracks.

During the weekend, they released the music video for one of the tracks, “Stranger Ways.”

If the Vans Warped Tour has yet to hit a city near you, don’t forget to check Anberlin out as they have been on the full tour. In addition, they are still in the process of announcing tour dates for their “FINAL” tour before the disbandment becomes official, so keep and eye out for that.

Anberlin’s final album Lowborn isn’t scheduled to be released until next week, but Pandora is giving fans of the central Florida-based band the chance to listen to it before its official release date.

Earlier this year, the band revealed that they would be disbanding at the end of the year. Before that is to happen, they promised their fans that there would be a brand new record and a final tour to close out their legacy.

Lowborn was supposed to be released last month before the Christian rock band was slated to begin their run on this year’s Van Warped Tour, but for some unknown reason (or maybe it is known), the album’s release date was pushed back a month, making it due out on July 22.

Listen to the full album here.

As for the final tour, dates have been trickling in over the past few months, though at present time it looks like most of them have been revealed. As of last week, the band announced that there were still dates that have not been announced yet due to obligations, but there final FINAL show will take place at Orlando’s House of Blues which will probably be sold out.

What a way to come full circle.

Anberlin Frontman Posts Blog About Song Meanings

Earlier this year, Anberlin announced that they would be breaking up, but not without releasing one final album as well as a tour to close up shop.

The band, who will be part of this year’s Vans Warped Tour, announced that their final album would be titled Lowborn and is set to be released this Summer; more specifically, July 22.

With a band that has been around since 2002 and has released a total of six albums to date, there are many songs that have come from them. In honor of the end of the group, frontman Stephen Christian, decided to post a bog in which he not only gives the correct lyrics for the band’s songs, but also the meaning behind them.

To view all of Christian’s musings and informative meanings behind some of your favorite Anberlin tracks like “Ready Fuels” or “Haight Street’ head on over to the blog and give it a read.

Also don’t forget to check out the Winter Haven-based band on Warped Tour this year as well as their final tour which will come sometime this Fall.
