As the years pass, more and more music festivals are being created and now we can add another one to that ever-expanding list.
Loudwire, an online music publication, recently announced plans for a festival of their own rock-centric festival in Colorado. The first ever Loudwire Music Festival will take place at Jam Ranch near Grand Junction, CO.
But if that wasn’t enough, the festival organizers have unveiled the first headliner of the inaugural event; Linkin Park.
“We’re really excited to play the first ever Loudwire Music Festival” said Linkin Park frontman, Chester Bennington. “This will be one epic rock show.”
The festival will feature rock musicians on all three of their stages from different sub-genres of the rock world. Most sub-genres will be represented such as hard rock, classic rock, alternative, metal and indie.
“We are very excited to launch the Loudwire Music Festival at Jam Ranch,” said Dhruv Prasad, Executive Vice President of Live Events for Townsquare Media
“Loudwire is one of our flagship brands–spanning broadcast radio, syndicated radio and a national website–so the addition of a live festival seemed a natural way to evolve the brand and deliver a great experience to rock music fans.”
Like many previously created music festivals, Loudwire will offer on-site camping for concert-goers. There will be three different options for camping including the standard, premier, and VIP.
As for tickets, there are several options beginning with General Admission which will start at $79. Reserved Seating will begin at $225 while VIP Seating and Experience will set you back $400.
The Loudwire Music Festival is set to take place during the weekend of June 26-28, 2015 while more performers who will join Linkin Park on the bill will be announced as the weekend gets closer.
