Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience tour plot third North American outing

If you ever wanted to live in the world of Westeros without running the risk of dying, we may have the perfect alternative for you. On Thursday (May 9), HBO and Live Nation announced that the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience tour will once again hit the road this fall. As with the past three iterations, series composer Ramin Djawadi will lead an orchestra as they perform his music from the award-winning show.

The 20-stop trek will include shows in major cities such as Toronto, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Tampa, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, San Francisco, and more. The upcoming tour begins on Sept. 5 at St. Joseph’s in Syracuse and concludes a month later on Oct. 5 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Monday, May 13, at 10 a.m. local time.

This year, Djawadi has reworked the show to include new musical arrangements from the series’ eighth and final season. According to the tour’s official press statement, the experience will consist of “The Night King” theme which can be streamed above.

In addition to Djawadi’s award-winning score, the show will also include state-of-the-art visual effects which will bring the world of Westeros from your television screen to your local outdoor venue.

As for “Game of Thrones” the television series, only two episodes remain before we say goodbye to our favorite and least favorite (looking at you Cersei) characters. Earlier this week, the series’ creator George R.R. Martin revealed that there are currently three spin-offs (or successor) series in the works at HBO.

“We have had five different GAME OF THRONES successor shows in development (I mislike the term ‘spin-offs’) at HBO, and three of them are still moving forward nicely,” Martin posted in a blog post on his website.
