Watch the Ragtime Gals Cover Rihanna with Special Guest

image

We all know Rihanna’s song “Bitch Better Have My Money” is about how her accountant ran away with her money resulting her almost going bankrupt, even though the singer is reportedly worth millions of dollars. So what happens when you combine the song, which has a crazy-ass music video and “what the hell” lyrics to boost and a barbershop quartet featuring a special guest?

The video below which finds Jimmy Fallon’s barbershop quartet, The Ragtime Gals, giving the rough-around-the-edges song a classic and almost family friendly sound (even though, we won’t call the song and its lyrics family friendly). In addition to the “wholesome” sound, the video also features a special guest contributing some vocals; Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Check out the video for the cover below.

Watch Will Ferrell and Chad Smith’s Drum-Off

Remember that super cool drum-off between funny-man Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith?

Well, after much smack talk, the look-a-likes finally took their fight to the stage to see who was the best. Dressed in matching KISS t-shirts, leather jackets and backwards, blue baseball caps, the duo looked like brothers from another mother on Jimmy Fallon’s late night talk show last night, where it all went down.

In order to have this happen, the Ferrell and Smith were asking for donations to be given to two charities of their choosing, Smith for Little Kids Rock and Ferrell for Cancer for College, which awards college scholarships to cancer patients. By the time the drum-off came along, donations had reached $30,000.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers also appeared on the showing, not wanting to miss their longtome drummer represent. This marked the first time the band had been on a late night show since 2006.

Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Spacey and the Ragtime Gals Cover Jason Derulo

fallon

What happens when you combine Jimmy Fallon, barbershop group, the Ragtime Gals, and actor Kevin Spacey?

Well, you have them covering Jason Derulo’s current hit song, “Talk Dirty,” but with a barbershop spin on it. Think the Dapper Dans from Disneyland taking on the naughty song and cleaning it up a bit so even your grandmother can listen to it. There’s also that added bonus that you can completely understand the lyrics.

Don’t believe us? Check it out the video which features the late night host, the “House of Cards” star and the barbershop group get their A Capella on.

This isn’t the first time that the Ragtime Gals (Tom Shillue, A.D. Miles and Chris Tartaro) have covered some naughty tracks that were breakout songs on the radio. In the past, they have covered R. Kelly’s “I Wanna Sex You Up,” “Ignition (Remix) and “SexyBack” featuring Justin Timberlake.

Idina Menzel and Jimmy Fallon Take on ‘Frozen’

letitgo

Last night, Idina Menzel or shall we call her Adele Nazeem took to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to perform her Academy Award winning song “Let it Go” from Frozen.

The cute video features Fallon, The Roots and Menzel playing kiddie instruments that you would find in a music class at your local elementary school including the likes of a small electronic piano, a color xylophone, a triangle and a couple of blocks.

If the scene looks familiar to you, then you’d be right. Last Summer, Fallon did the same kind of skit with Robin Thicke where they performed “Blurred Lines” with the same kiddie instruments.

Watch the adorable clip below and have fun singing along to it.

Jimmy Fallon Covers The Lumineers

cluck

The Lumineers have officially made it.

As if getting playfully hit in the face by Sir Elton John (it happened to drummer, Jeremiah Fraites at the Grammys) didn’t secure the Colorado-based indie band a place in pop culture then Jimmy Fallon, Blake Shelton and Parks & Recreation star, Nick Offerman covering their hit song, “Ho Hey” may have done it.

Just in time for Easter, the late night host and his group of clucking friends formed The Chickeneers and covered the top 100 hit song on Fallon’s show.

Check out the video right here and have a little bit of a clucking laugh yourselves.
