Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards give kids the chance to vote on what they think is the coolest of the cool in the pop culture world. The kids were in deed, out in force today at USC’s Galen Center for the 26th installment of the KCAs. The underage voters (and parents) waited hours to catch a simple glimpse of their favorite starts who were set to attend such as Kristen Stewart, Miranda Cosgrove, Selena Gomez, and Katy Perry on the famous orange carpet.
The show was hosted by Transformer‘s Josh Duhamel whose pregnant wife, Fergie, was also in the crowd cheering on her husband which she let fan know of in a Twitter post earlier in the day. Winners of the evening included, The Hunger Games for Favorite Movie, One Direction as Favorite Music Group and Nickelodeon’s very own, recently ended show, Victorious as Favorite Television Show.
But things were not safe for anyone because everyone who entered that arena became a target for the infamous slime to fall on (think the Hunger Games, just with a lot of gooey, neon green slime). Casualties of the evening included Neil Patrick Harris, Sandra Bullock, Kristen Stewart and Mr. Worldwide himself, Pitbull.
