Justin Timberlake has been having a heck of a year so far and it’s only February. First it was the reveal of his new tracks (“Suit & Tie” and the recently released, “Mirrors”) then it was the information about his new album, The 20/20 Experience and now sources are claiming that the pop star and friend, Jay-Z might be heading out on a stadium tour this Summer.
The two artists have already shown that they could perform together at both the Super Bowl and this past weekend’s Grammy Awards, so what would be better than joining forces and going out on a tour. The sources are so far claiming that there will be 11 to 13 stadium dates, but nothing has been set in stone quite yet. The New York Post quoted Timberlake as saying: “We’re definitely going to go on tour . . . I don’t know how much I should say. . . . It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that” on the Red Carpet of the Grammys.
If this tour ends up happening which let’s face it, it just might, it could even rival Jay-Z’s wife’s tour (The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour) because if the JT/Jay-Z performance at the Grammys is anything like what they intend to do on tour, then it would definitely be worth while.
