The Early November Stream “Cyanide”

The Early November’s second post-reunion album, Imbue, is set to be released in two weeks, and now the band are giving fans the chance to hear another new track from the impending album.

The new song is titled “Cyanide” and joins previously released tracks “Narrow Mouth” and “Circulation” on the soon-to-be released record which also happens to be the their fourth studio album.

Listen to the track below.

In an interview with Substream, the website that got the opportunity to premiere the new song, drummer Jeff Kummer, spoke with them about the new track.

“Recording this album was unlike anything we’ve done before. Half of the songs were tracked in 2013 and the other half toward the end of last year.

‘Cyanide’ was done in the last batch. I think your normal TEN fan will grab on to this one pretty quick because it has bits and pieces of what we’ve done over the years sprinkled all over it. It’s one of my favorite songs on the album.”

Imbue is scheduled to be released on May 12 through Rise Records. Pre-orders for the album, both psychical and digital, are current available.

In support of Imbue, The Early November will be heading out on tour this Spring with Lydia and Restorations.

Listen to The Early November’s “Circulation”

Last month, the Early November gave longtime fans a slew of good news which included a tour, a new album, and the lead single from that new album.

Today, the band has given those waiting patiently another new song from Imbue.

The five-minute long track is titled “Circulation,” and is currently streaming at Fuse, but if you don’t feel like heading over there to listen to the song, you can just click the play button below and enjoy.

According to the music channel who got the opportunity to interview TEN frontman Ace Enders, “Circulation” is the band’s favorite song off of the upcoming record. Enders also revealed the inspiration behind the song which is kind of deep and relatable.

“‘Circulation’ was written on a flight from Philly to San Francisco to start a tour,” Enders told Fuse during their interview.

“Lyrically I couldn’t get the idea of being misjudged so badly that you’re trapped in the thought of what other people think of you. Or I just felt claustrophobic on the flight.”

Imbue will be released on May 12 through Rise Records. As for the tour, it will begin on the same day Imbue is released at Trees in Dallas. To view the complete list of tour stops, click here.

The Early November Announce New Album, Tour, and Lead Single

Today is definitely a good news day if you are a fan of The Early November.

The last we heard from the New Jersey band, which was back in January on Facebook, they had revealed plans to release a new album sometime this year.

Guess that “sometime” now has an official date.

The new album, their fourth studio album, will be titled Imbue and is set to be released on May 12 through Rise Records.

But that’s not even where the good news ends. The band is currently streaming the first single off of the album; a track titled “Narrow Mouth.” The video for “Narrow Mouth” can be seen below.

A new album and a song stream might seem like more than enough, but it doesn’t end there.

The band have revealed that in support of the new album, they will be heading out on tour this Spring. The tour will begin on May 12 in at Trees in Dallas and wrap up on June 4 at Union Transfer in Philadelphia. Lydia and Restoration will be making the trek alongside the band.

See, lots of good news. The full tour itinerary can be seen below.

Imbue is the second album the band have released since their reunion back in 2011. In 2012, they release their In Currents LP.
