It’s been a month since The Descendents blasted back onto the scene with a slew of good news for their fans which included a new album, a fall tour, and a new single. On Monday (July 11), the punk band released another new song from their upcoming new album, Hypercaffium Spazzinate. The new track is titled “Without Love” and can currently be streamed on Spotify or below.
“Without Love” will join Hypercaffium Spazzinate lead single, “Victim of Me” on the band’s highly anticipated “comeback” album. Back in April, the group unveiled that they had re-signed with the Epitaph Records and that there would be new music from them before the year’s end. Then, in early June, they announced the new album with the debut of “Victim of Me.”
Hypercaffium Spazzinate is set to be released on July 29 and not only marks their return to Epitaph, where the released 1996’s Everything Sucks, but also their first new record since 2004’s Cool To Be You.
In support of the upcoming album, the band recently announced that they will hit the road in the fall. The tour will kick into high gear on Sept. 19 with a show at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN which will be followed with an appearance at Riot Fest Chicago during the weekend of Sept. 16-18. The sporadically scheduled tour will come to a close on Nov. 12 at the Roseland Theater in Portland, OR. the complete list of stops can be found here.
