Watch Adam Lazzara Burn Down a House in “Better Homes and Gardens”

It’s been over a year since Taking Back Sunday released their new album Happiness Is…and we’re now being gifted with a brand new music video from it.

After a handful of tours and several festival appearances, the Long Island band have released the music video for the somber track, “Better Homes and Gardens.”

The music video only features frontman Adam Lazzara as he drives a beat up blue pick up truck to the woods. There, we see a house which looks like it has seen better days. As Lazzara sings the song, we watch as he goes to the back of the truck and removes a gasoline canister from the bed and heads for the house.

He begins to pour gasoline all over the house and follows it up by lighting a cigarette. As you can guess, the house soon goes up in flames and all we see is Lazzara just watching as that “house that you hate” burns down to the ground.

As anyone who has seen the song performed live and knows some information about Lazzara’s personal life, you can guess (and probably be right) about the subject matter of the song.

Watch the video for “Better Homes and Gardens” below.

Taking Back Sunday to Re-Release ‘Happiness Is…’, Unveil New Music Video

We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again; Taking Back Sunday have become one of the hardest working bands of 2014.

With all the tours they’ve been on this year (and there’s still a month and a half left), and the new album they put out earlier this year, we’re sure TBS have only had a handful of days off.

Exactly a week ago, the band revealed plans to head out on another North American tour at the beginning of 2015 with The Menzinger and letlive. and now we know why they will be hitting the touring circuit once again; they’ll be re-releasing Happiness Is… in a special edition box set.

The box set which has been titled The Complete Recordings: Happiness Is…, is a limited edition 7″ box set featuring six previously unreleased B-sides and acoustic tracks.

The box set is slated to drop on Feb. 24 through Hopeless Records, but if you want it, you’re going to have to be one of the first to pre-order it because the band have announced that only 1,000 of them have been made.

As if that wasn’t enough Taking Back Sunday news for the day, the band went on to celebrate the announcement by releasing a new music video for their track, “All the Way.” The music video features live footage from what we’re assuming to be from one of their many tour stops of 2014.

Taking Back Sunday Reveal New Album Info

Fans of Taking Back Sunday can now rejoice because the band have confirmed that their new album will be coming out sooner than later.

Last year, the band has posted pictures on Instagram from inside the studio beginning the talks that a new band would be in the hands of fans by the end of the year. That did not exactly happen, but the band had announced that new songs were on their way eventually giving to us the lead single from the album, “Flicker, Fade.”

Yesterday afternoon, the band once again took to their Instagram page an uploaded a picture of what looked like a paw of a creature and eventually wrote on Facebook that “some good and bad guessing going on right now” about it. Turns out, the paw was the paw of a panther which is the cover art for their upcoming new album, Happiness Is…

Alongside the cover art for the album the band also revealed that it will be released on March 18th through Hopeless Records. The studio version of “Flicker, Fade” is now available through iTunes as well as the pre-order for it. The full tracklist and cover art for the upcoming album can be seen below right after the stream of “Flicker, Fade”
