It’s been months since anyone has really heard anything from Fall Out Boy. Between the new album, touring, and their privates lives, it’s safe to assume thing shave been crazy. Well, there’s no need to worry any longer because the quartet have returned.
On Tuesday (July 24), the Chicago-founded band unleashed the music video for their latest single, “Bishops Knife Trick.” Unlike many of their previous music videos, this one only features frontman Patrick Stump, a band of llamas, and some crew members. The five-minute clip features Stump playing the role of a power-hungry, rude, micromanaging music video director who is not impressed by the band.
If the premise of the clip sounds and looks oddly familiar, then you would be on to something; it’s a clear ode to their music video for 2007’s “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs.”
About four minutes into the clip, two of the llamas get into a massive fight and are swiftly kicked off the soundstage. Instead of calling it a day, Stump goes over to the piano and finishes the song (and then struggles to turn off the camera). For fans of the band, it’s funny to watch Stump, one of the nicest people you could possibly meet, screaming and losing his head over this llama band not listening to him.

“Bishops Knife Trick” is featured on Fall Out boy’s recently released record, MANIA. MANIA was released in January and swiftly earned the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Though the reviews were mostly mixed, MANIA went on to become Fall Out Boy’s fourth number one album.
