Kanye West has been on a roll this weeks with debuting some of this new music during last weekend’s New York Governor’s Ball.
Rumor had it that before the Ball, West had held a super secret listening party for some people in late-April, but until this day, not many have been able to confirm whether or not this rumor was true or just that, a rumor.
Last night, the rapper held an official listening party for friends, a small group of fans and just a handful of media at Milk in NYC. s. where he revealed some guests that would be on the 10-tracked, Yeezus.
Who would be making it on one of the year’s highly anticipated albums you might ask?
West confirmed that Chicago rapper, Chief Keef, would be featured on the track, “Holy My Liquor,” but he isn’t the only one to be guest-starring on that track. In what might be one of the most random and unique pairing, Bon Iver frontman, Justin Vernon will also be on the same track.
But that was not all. The rapper also introduced a new track that will be featured on the Rick Rubin produced album which mashes TNGHT’s “Higher Ground” with Billie Holiday’s classic, “Strange Fruit.”
Yeezus hits stores June 18th, but don’t let that date fool you; considering it’s Kanye, he might just release the new album tomorrow.
