All Time Low, Dashboard Confessional extend ‘Summer Ever After’ tour

A month after announcing their joint, late-summer tour, All Time Low and Dashboard Confessional have added more stops to the upcoming excursion. On Monday (June 25), the two bands added a handful of extra dates to their forthcoming trek set to take place in late September and early October. The second leg of the “Summer Ever After” will begin in Dashboard Confessional’s hometown of Boca Raton, Florida at the Mizner Park Amphitheater and conclude a couple of weeks later on Oct. 12 in San Francisco at The Masonic.

Just like the first leg of the tour, singer-songwriter Gnash will join the two bands on the newly announced tour stops. Tickets for the just-announced shows will go on sale beginning this Friday, June 29. Members of All Time Low’s Hustlers fan club will gain access to pre-sale tickets beginning this Tuesday, June 26, at 10 a.m. local time.

Back in early May, both bands announced the first leg of the summertime tour. All Time Low took the cryptic path by posting “This could be the end of an era…or a new beginning…or some kind of endless summer. We haven’t totally figured it out yet, but what we do know is that we ain’t finished rippin’ gigs for you this year!!!” as their formal announcement.

Unlike their tour mates, Dashboard Confessional kept it simple by posting “We’ve been keeping this a secret for far too long…The Summer Ever After tour with All Time Low and support from Gnash.”

The upcoming tour will be in support of both bands’ recently released records. Dashboard Confessional released their seventh studio album, Crooked Shadow, earlier this year while All Time Low released their seventh studio album, Last Young Renegade last summer. Earlier this month, the Baltimore-founded four-piece released a brand new song titled “Everything is Fine.” Listen to the brand new song above while the newly added “Summer Ever After” tour dates can be found below.

All Time Low and Dashboard Confessional to live ‘Summer Ever After’

Ready to add another huge tour to your lengthy summertime concert schedule? If not, it’s time to do so. On Monday (May 14) All Time Low and Dashboard Confessional announced plans to hit the road together during the month of August. Titled the “Summer Ever After” tour, the excursion will kick off on Aug. 3 at Myth Live in St. Paul, Minnesota. After spending a couple of weeks traveling across the continent, the trek will conclude its first leg on Aug. 26 at the Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The tour dates for the second leg of the excursion will reportedly be announced within the next few weeks.

Taking to social media, both bands announced the upcoming co-headlining tour in their own special way.

“This could be the end of an era…or a new beginning…or some kind of endless summer. We haven’t totally figured it out yet, but what we do know is that we ain’t finished rippin’ gigs for you this year!!!” posted All Time Low on their official Twitter account.

As for Dashboard, they took a more direct approach with their announcement: “We’ve been keeping this a secret for far too long…The Summer Ever After tour with All Time Low and support from Gnash.”

As confirmed by Dashboard, singer-songwriter Gnash will be the groups’ direct supporting act. Tickets for the “Summer Ever After” tour will go on sale beginning this Friday, May 18, at 10 a.m. local time.

Fan club and Citi pre-sales will begin this Tuesday, May 15, at 10 a.m. local time and conclude on Thursday. All other pre-sales will begin on Thursday, May 17. For more details about the upcoming tour, you can head on over to either All Time Low‘s or Dashboard Confessional‘s websites.

The upcoming tour will be in support of All Time Low’s recently released record, Last Young Renegade. The band’s seventh studio album was released back in June of 2017 and quickly landed at the number nine spot on Billboard’s 200 chart. This album also marked the group’s first with their new record label, Fueled By Ramen.

Prior to embarking on the “Summer Ever After” tour, All Time Low will play three California dates on the final Vans Warped Tour. After that, they will head out to Chicago to perform at this year’s Lollapalooza.

Much like All Time Low, the upcoming tour will be in support of Dashboard Confessional’s recently released record, Crooked Shadow. Their seventh studio album also marks their first record to be released via their new home of Fueled By Ramen.
