All Time Low celebrate their fans, live shows in ‘Getaway Green’

All Time Low may have claimed that they don’t negotiate with kidnapping pandas (sorry, Rian), but we guess their tune has changed.

On Tuesday (March 17), the Baltimore-founded band unleashed the third single off their upcoming studio effort, Wake Up, Sunshine. Titled “Getaway Green,” the track sounds like a return to their pop-punk roots, something the group had admitted would be happening on the forthcoming album.

To coincide with the song’s “pressured” debut, the quartet has also unveiled the song’s music video. Instead of taking the theatrical route, like they had done with the previous singles, the band took a simplistic approach by making the three-minute clip all about their fans and the wonder of their live shows.

According to a press statement, the footage for the music video was filmed during the band’s intimate gigs in Boston, New York, Baltimore, Leeds, and London this January.

“Getaway Green” joins “Sleeping In” and “Some Kind of Disaster” on All Time Low’s impending eighth studio album. Wake Up, Sunshine is due out April 3 through Fueled By Ramen.

Pre-save and pre-order options are currently available on the band’s website. All pre-orders will include an instant grat download of the album’s singles “Sleeping In” and “Some Kind of Disaster” (we guess “Getaway Green” will also be included now).

Last month, All Time Low was confirmed as one of a handful of “emo bands” slated to hit the road for the second annual Sad Summer Music Festival. Joining All Time Low on the road this summer will be The Story So Far, Movements, The Maine, Yours Truly, Grayscale, and Destroy Boys.
