Falling in Reverse Guitarist Leaves Band

image

Falling in Reverse is going to be down a member during their upcoming set of tours. On Friday (Oct. 30), longtime guitarist Jacky Vincent revealed that he had left the group after being with them since the inception of the group. In a statement released exclusively to Alternative Press, the guitarist as well as Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke, announced that the “split is amicable” and that all “parties are on good terms.” The press release can be read below.

“Falling In Reverse has announced that Jacky Vincent is leaving the band to concentrate on his solo career.

Ronnie Radke said, “I remember the first time I met Jacky, I walked out of prison and he was waiting there so stoked. Hands down one of the greatest guitar players to ever live. And one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. I wish him nothing but the best. Love you Jacky.”

Jacky Vincent said, “I can’t thank Ronnie, Derek and Ryan enough for the last 5 years. I will most likely never laugh as hard again in my life. I feel proud to have played with such brilliant musicians and I will miss touring with them enormously. I am forever grateful to have experienced what I did in Falling in Reverse and I feel very fortunate to have lived what I dreamt of doing for so many years. To the fans, I loved meeting you all. I kept as many as your gifts and letters as I could and they all mean so much. Thank you for everything.”

The split is amicable and all parties are on good terms.

All upcoming shows will go on as currently scheduled.”

At the time of the press release, there was no mention of who will be replacing Vincent. Instead, it appears that Radke and company already have someone and will be revealing their identity soon. Falling in Reverse Drummer to Join Matchbook Romance on Warped Tour

image

Falling in Reverse are going to be down a member this Summer, but before fans of the group can start getting upset about it, it’s only going to be temporary. Plus, FIR have begun their own personal “summer break.”

Today (June 9), it was announced that FIR drummer, Ryan Seaman, will be hitting the Vans Warped Tour this Summer, but not with his band. Instead, the sticksman is going to be playing drums for Matchbook Romance as they make their return to the touring circuit.

Seaman will begin his time as Matchbook Romance’s drummer on June 23 in Mesa, AZ at Quail Run Park and will conclude his trek alongside the Poughkeepsie band on July 8 in Virginia Beach at the Farm Bureau Live at Virginia Beach.

After the Virginia Beach date, Matchbook Romance drummer Aaron Stern will return to his place behind the drum kit on the traveling rock show.

In a statement, Seaman revealed that this was the best way for him to repay the band for what in a way led to the formation of Falling in Reverse (Seaman meeting FIR frontman Ronnie Radke).

“I actually met Ronnie on a tour that my old band did with Matchbook 10 years ago and who would have ever thought that one day Ronnie and I would be in a band together, all based on a night in Las Vegas at House of Blues. Matchbook needed a trustworthy friend to fill in, and I owe a lot to these guys.

And since Falling In Reverse have the summer off and was okay with me doing this, I feel like now is a better time than ever to help out people that first helped out me. I’m really pumped on seeing you all out there. Come say hi if you see me!”

Matchbook Romance are slated to play the complete Warped Tour while Falling in Reverse recently wrapped up their “Ronnie Radke’s Three Ring Circus Tour” last Friday (June 5).

Falling in Reverse to Perform ‘Dying is Your Latest Fashion’ in Full

image

Yes, you read the headline right.

Falling in Reverse will be performing Escape the Fate’s breakout album in full during their upcoming Spring Tour.

Former Escape the Fate frontman Ronnie Radke announced the news online. In a statement, he explains that it’s to not only celebrate the impending 10th anniversary of the album, but to also give the fans who never got the opportunity to see those songs performed live (with him as the singer, we assume) the chance to see it.

“I decided to play Dying Is Your Latest Fashion for the fans to experience the 10-year anniversary coming up. I wanted to give the fans that never got to see those songs live an unforgettable experience. Kids should expect a blast of nostalgia and some familiar faces plus their favorite Falling In Reverse songs!”

Familiar faces? We’re curious.

As the official tour poster (can be seen below) states, there will be three acts to every single tour date. Ghost Town will open the show and will be followed by Falling in Reverse performing Dying is Your Latest Fashion. After that, FIR will wrap things up with their own material or “classics” like Radke said.

Check out the full list of tour dates below which will begin on April 24 at San Diego’s House of Blues and end on June 5 at San Francisco’s The Regency Ballroom.

Escape the Fate and Falling in Reverse ‘Bury the Hatchet’

Falling-in-Reverse-Escape-the-Fate

After years of being at war with each other, Falling in Reverse and Escape the Fate have finally decided to bury the long-going hatchet that they had for several years.

Last night, some talk started on the web that Escape the Fate and Falling in Reverse would be announcing something big today. Evidence of an olive branch continued when the frontman of each band, Craig Mabbitt on behalf of Escape the Fate and Ronnie Radke on behalf of Falling in Reverse, tweeted the same thing; a simple #burythehatchet.

In an exclusive interview with Alternative Press, both Mabbitt and Radke explained how they decided to set their differences aside, especially Radke who had been fired from the band back in mid-2008 following a prison sentence when he did not report to his parole officer after being put on probation. Of course this led to him forming Falling Reverse.

In honor of burying the hatchet, they decided to name their upcoming tour just that, The Bury the Hatchet tour. Tickets will go on sale, fittingly, on Halloween.

Check out the video of the Alternative Press interview below as well as the official tour dates.
