Ellie Goulding Releases ‘Beating Heart’ Video

Like Paramore is to the Twilight franchise, Ellie Goulding is quickly becoming the head girl behind the Divergent soundtrack. With four tracks on the box office’s number one film’s album, the British darling released the music video for the lead single, “Beating Heart.”

The video begins with Goulding sitting in a dark room, dressed in all dark holding a glass full with a mysterious blue liquid. Once she drinks the liquid from the cup, she is transported into this foggy forest where she begins to be persuaded by a dark-haired man.

The video continues to intertwine footage from both the film and Goulding’s dream world. You would also notice that very much like Tris, Goulding has the bird tattoos on her collar area..

Ellie Goulding Releases New Video

Ellie Goulding is already starting off the new year in a good way by releasing the music video for her song, “Goodness Gracious.”

The song, which was actually released sometime last Summer, is part of the re-release of her hit album, Halcyon Days.

The video features, light and colorful visuals reminiscent of the 80s make you wish that it was Summertime all over again. The images of crashing waves, palm trees and the petite blonde singer with her friends make you yearn for the days of hanging out with your friends with sparklers and bon fires instead of horribly cold weather and tons of layers especially if you are unfortunately station in one of the northern states.

For now, you can check out the video and begin the countdown for warmer weather.

Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding Team Up in L.A.

Another day, another guest star at the never-ending tour that is Taylor Swift’s RED Tour.

This time, British songstress, Ellie Goulding had the honor of joining the pop star on stage during on another one of her Los Angeles tour stops at the Staples Center on Friday. This tour might be all about Swift and tourmate, Ed Sheeran, but it looks like it might also be about all the guests that she has brought on stage since the tour began.

So far, the “Love Story” singer has brought on stage Carly Simpson who she sang “You’re So Vain,” Tegan and Sara earlier this week for a rendition of their single, “Closer” as well as Jimmy Eat World frontman, Jim Atkins and Fall Out Boy frontman, Patrick Stump.

“Everybody, I want you to put anything you have lit-up up,” Swift instructed her legion of fans before introducing Goulding to the stage where the two of them performed her 2012 hit song, “Anything Could Happen.”

After the show Swift tweeted the following to her fans about the show: “So.. Anything could happen at one of our LA shows. @elliegoulding showed up to sing ‘anything could happen’! 15,000 person dance party.

Check out the footage of the two of them performing the song here:

Listen to Ellie Goulding’s New Track

Ellie Goulding has pretty much been a staple on the pop charts since her hit song “Lights” first made its debut on the radio. Now, the British songstress has released a new song which features a little help from fun. frontman, Nate Ruess.

Ruess, who has gotten some pop cred under his belt for several hit radio songs and even some assistance in other songs like P!nk’s “Just Give Me a Reason” and Ke$ha’s “Die Young” has contributed to Goulding’s new song, but don’t expect for him to have his vocals on the track; the music man decided to take a behind the scenes approach for the song.

The name of the track is “Goodness Gracious” and will be featured on the Goulding’s re-release of her hit album, Halcyon. The re-issue titled, Halcyon Days will feature several spare songs that she had in hiding, including a cover of  Alt-J’s “Tesselate,” the electronic, “Burn as well as the ballad, “Hearts without Chains.”

For now, take a listen to the track and pick up Halcyon Days when it hits store on August 27.
