Brand New Premiere New Song, “Mene”

After Amazon ruined the surprise of a new song from Brand New (the mega media market place posted the name of the track and a 30-second clip of it), the band have now formally announced their official first new song in six years, “Mene.”

Last week, live footage of the Long Island band performing a new track titled “Don’t Feel Anything” during a show in Denver had hardcore fans assuming that the song would be the first of many new tracks heading our way, and apparently they were on to something.

As of now, the new track is being streamed over at Brand New’s newly redesigned website. The homepage of the site features a retrospective music video for the new song as well as the news that the track is currently available as a free download. For those interested, hurry. According to the band, it will only be available for a limited time.

All you need to do is join their mailing list and the track is all yours.

For those who miss the free download period, the track will be available for purchase beginning this Wednesday (April 15).

All the new stuff coming from Brand New is all the evidence need that they have something big up their sleeve. With all the tour dates and cryptic hints, it’s hard to not think that a new album might be coming our way really soon.

Sleeping with Sirens “Like it Loud”

Sleeping with Sirens have started 2015 with a bang by giving fans a brand new song. The new song is titled “We Like it Loud” and was release earlier in the day. But if that wasn’t enough, the band have given their fans the chance to download the new song for free for the next 24 hours on their official website.

Listen to the track below and don’t forget to download it before time runs out.

Sleeping with Sirens have a pretty packed beginning of the new year. The second leg of their co-headlining North American tour with Pierce the Veil begins on Jan. 23 at the Viejas Arena in San Diego and will wrap up on Mar. 4 at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City.

Back in November, they had announced they had signed with Epitaph Records while also releasing a new song titled “Kick Me.” No word on whether these two new tracks will be featured on a potential new record. Their last album was 2013’s Feel.

Prince Releases New Song

Prince is back with a brand new song titled, “‘Ain’t Gonna Miss U When U’re Gone.”

Over the course of the last couple of months, the singer has been releasing a slew of new tracks online through his 3rdeyegirl website. In December 2012, he released the track “Rock And Roll Love Affair” and then followed it up with “Screwdriver.”

But just when you thought that Prince would end his giving streak there, he continued to release “Breakfast Can Wait” this past February and “FIXURLIFEUP” in May.

Earlier this year, the singer embarked on a North American theater tour which hit cities  such as Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas,  San Diego, Anaheim, Denver and Vancouver. And just to prove that he still has the moves, Prince performed not one, but two shows a night at each location.

For now, you can check out the new song below:

All the singer’s newest tracks including, “Screwdriver,” “Live Out Loud” and of course “Ain’t Gonna Miss U When U’re Gone” are all available on his official website for $0.88.

Prince’s new album, The Electric Lady will be released this September and features guest stars like Janelle Monae, Miguel and Erykah Badu.
