Sleeping with Sirens continue to tease fans with cryptic hints on social media

Okay Sleeping with Sirens, we get the message. Fans have something big heading their way later this week, and you don’t want to share. At least not yet.

On Monday (June 17), the Florida-founded band started the week by dropping a cryptic video on social media sending fans into a frenzy of speculations.

The 18-second clip begins with frontman Kellin Quinn, sporting platinum locks, walking in the lobby of a building. He looks like a man on a mission as he heads to an unknown area. Along the way, the viewer watches as he looks from side to side as if he were waiting for something to attack him.

He enters an elevator that takes him to a level where all the other members of the band, instruments in hand, are waiting for his arrival. Just as it seems like the group is about to start playing a song, the clip cuts to a screen with the text “June 19” on it.

Quinn’s mission to get to his bandmates is soundtracked by an electronic-styled song which is cut off just as drummer Gabe Barham is about to hit his drum kit. Is this the lead single off the band’s forthcoming studio effort?

If we’re going to take bets, we’re going to go with yes. Watch the clip below.

The video comes hot on the heels of the band wiping their Instagram accounts clean. All five members seem to be on the same page as all images on their personal accounts were also erased.

Is this the beginning of their new era? If what Quinn said in a tweet last month holds true, we’re definitely putting our money on it.

The timing of all these cryptic hints couldn’t be any better for the quintet. Later this week, they will embark on the inaugural Disrupt Festival. Sleeping with Sirens joins The Used, Sum 41, Thrice, Circa Survive, and more on the upcoming tour. The full list of dates can be found here.

Sleeping with Sirens’ last studio album was 2017’s Gossip.

Watch Sum 41 take a trip back to the 60s in ‘A Death in the Family’

With a few short weeks left before hitting the touring circuit once more, Sum 41 has returned with a brand new music video. On Tuesday (June 11), the Canadian band released the clip for their latest single, “A Death in the Family.”

The four-minute video begins with an old-school Hollywood countdown on the screen. Once it reaches zero, the screen changes to some kind of transmission with the word “searching” and the band’s name displaying on a black background.

The viewer soon finds themselves zooming through space, down to Earth, to the middle fo a warehouse district. The scenery rapidly changes to the inside of a building where two versions of Sum 41 appears; one from 1969 and the present incarnation of the band.

Throughout the clip, we watch as the two versions of the band perform the song in the same exact room (with a 50-year difference) while a creepy person is situated in a control room watching this. The video comes to an end with the lyric “your lies will tear us apart” appearing on the screen.

“A Death in the Family” will join previously released track “Out for Blood” on Sum 41’s forthcoming album.

Order in Decline is due out July 19 through Hopeless Records. Pre-orders are available for purchase here. All pre-orders will come with instant downloads of both “Out for Blood” and “A Death in the Family.”

Order in Decline is the follow-up to 2016’s 13 Voices.

Sum 41 announced the release of their seventh studio album back in April. According to the band, the forthcoming record will be their “heaviest and most aggressive album to date, while also being their most dynamic and raw.”

Later this month, the group will join the Used, Circa Survive, and Thrice on the inaugural Rockstar Energy Drink Disrupt Festival. The 25-stop tour begins on June 21 at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas and concludes a month later on July 28 at the Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque.
