Silverstein Announce Release Date for ‘I Am Alive in Everything I Touch’

Silverstein are in the final stretch of their “Discovering the Waterfront Tenth Anniversary tour” and with the North American portion of the celebration coming to a close, the Canadian band have revealed the release date for their new album.

I Am Alive in Everything I Touch, their eighth studio album, will officially be released on May 19 through Rise Records. Before the band took to their social media accounts to reveal this information, they announced the release date during their show in Ft. Lauderdale (also known as our hometown show).

During the show, the band performed a new song titled “A Midwestern State of Emergency” followed by the announcement that the new record had not only been completed, but it would be released in mid-May.

As if that  wasn’t enough, the band also revealed that the “Discovering the Waterfront Tenth Anniversary Tour” will be making the trek to Australia in May to give their fans “Down Under” the chance to celebrate the anniversary of the band’s sophomore album.

Silverstein Announce Tenth Year Anniversary Tour for ‘Discovering the Waterfront’

Silverstein2013.172029

We’ve written several times about ten year anniversary tours from many of the bands that we’ve grown up with and with 2015 just two months away, we’re sure we’ll be writing about more of them in the new year.

With Relient K, Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, and more already making their rounds, another band will shortly be joining that list: Silverstein.

The band, who we last wrote about earlier this year and their misfortune of having to cancel tour dates, have revealed plans to go on a ten-year anniversary tour for their breakthrough album, Discovering the Waterfront.

Supporting the Canadian band on the tour will be Beartooth, Hands Like House, Major League, and My Iron Lung.

Check out the newly released flyer for the tour slated to begin on Jan. 15, 2015 at the London Music Hall and wrap up in Toronto on Feb. 28 at the Danforth Music Hall.
