It was only a month ago that Circa Survive were finishing up their last tour of the year with Pianos Become the Teeth and Title Fight.

Now the band have announced they will once again be hitting the road, proving that they might be one of the hardest working bands out there.

Taking to Facebook, the Philadelphia band announced their new tour which will feature special guests, Balance and Composure and CHON.

The tour will begin on March 16 in Raleigh NC at the Lincoln Theater and wrap up almost two months later on May 3 in Stroudsburg, PA at the Sherman Theater.

VIP tickets for the shows are currently on sale.

This tour, much like the others, is in support of the band’s recently released album, Descensus which was released last November through Sumerian Records.

Last week, the band gifted fans with the cool live footage music video for their latest single, “Child of the Desert.”

Circa Survive Drop Live Footage Video for “Child of the Desert”

Circa Survive are giving their fans a little something to start their weekend off on the right foot; a new music video.

The band have released the music video for a song titled, “Child of the Desert” featured on their recently released album, Descensus.

The video features what looks like slowed down live footage of the band performing the song. With the lighting and the close ups of the band members, it almost makes you feel like you’re actually in a darkly lit club, watching Circa Survive perform this track live.

Circa Survive released Descensus, their fifth studio record on Nov. 24, 2014 through new record label, Sumerian Records. Circa were also confirmed as one of Coachella’s many performers for this year’s annual event, playing the stage on both Sundays of the festival; April 12 and April 19.

Descensus, marks Circa Survives fifth studio album and also their first official record with new label, Sumerian Records. Circa had revealed they had signed to Sumerian for the new record after the label reissued a deluxe version of the band’s fourth studio album, Violent Waves.

Descensus will be released next Monday (Nov. 24) and pre-orders are still ongoing over at iTunes. If you pre-order the album now, the order will come with an instant download of the record’s lead single and opening track, “Schema.”

Currently, Circa Survive are in the middle of their tour with Title Fight and Pianos Become the Teeth. Full tour dates for that can be seen here. Tonight they will be at the Murray Theater in Murray. The tour will wrap up on Dec. 14 in Philadelphia at Union Transfer; their second night performing at that venue.

Amazon has a way of ruining surprises for bands who are about to make big announcement about upcoming new music and Circa Survive became another causality of the mega online marketplace’s advanced posting.

Today, Amazon revealed on their website that Circa would be releasing a new album in November through Sumerian Records, the record label that just last month released a deluxe edition CD/DVD of their fourth studio album, Violent Waves.

With the surprise already out there, the band went ahead and confirmed the news by releasing a trailer for the upcoming album on YouTube.

The record, the bands fifth studio album, will be titled Descensus and is set to be released on Nov. 24; just in time for hardcore circa fans to be thankful.

Pre-orders for the record will begin on Oct. 27, the same day a new song will debut. We’re putting our money on the track being the one in the trailer.

In a recent Reddit AMA interview, Sumerian founder, Ash Avildsen, confirmed the band’s addition to their roster following the decision to re-release the Violent Waves CD/DVD pack though them.

“It couldn’t have been more awesome. I’ve been a huge fan ever since they started and their drummer (Steve Clifford) is a close friend who I used to be in a band with. We toured DIY over 10 years ago before Myspace or Facebook when it was a whole different era in music. The new record is absolutely incredible. I can’t wait until we can show it to the world! Anthony and the guys are absolutely amazing to work with too. True artists full of great ideas and passion.”

Back in August, the band announced they would be heading out on tour at the beginning of November with Title Fight and Pianos Become the Teeth. Full tour dates for that can be seen here.
