Demi Lovato Rides Float at Gay Pride Parade in New Music Video

When Demi Lovato said that she would be releasing the music video fro her newest single, “Really Don’t Care,” she didn’t hold back anything in the video especially when it came to the cameos.

The video features the former Disney starlet performing on a float during the Gay Pride Parade. Last week, when pictures from the music video shoot had surfaced, it was assumed that the video would consist footage from it, and look it totally did.

The video comes a day after Lovato revealed that her grandfather was a gay man at Logo’s Trailblazers special which honors pioneers of LGBT equality. Lovato is familiar with speaking up when it concerns certain things like freedom and anti-bullying.

You can watch the video for the Summer 2014 radio staple and look to see how many guests you can spot.

Don’t forget to tune into Logo’s Trailblazers special which air tonight. Special guests on the program not only include Lovato, but also Fall Out boy’s Pete Wentz, R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Sia, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and many more.

Demi Lovato Covers Ed Sheeran

A few months ago, Demi Lovato and Ed Sheeran began showcasing adoration for one another and their music via Twitter. Eventually, the idea of both of them joining forces to create music was opened up and both has admitted that they would like to work together.

Though no official word has been given whether the two pop powerhouses will make this happen, Sheeran revealed in a recent interview with MTV, how much he would like to make that collaboration a reality.  “She’s one of the few that can actually bring it live. Like, she’s got vocals,” Sheeran said. “I see her [June 16th], we’re doing the same show together, so we’ll discuss then. We may even do it that night, you never know!”

Recently, Lovato showed her appreciation for Sheeran by performing a cover of his song, “Give Me Love” from his debut album, +.

Guess all we can do now is sit and wait until it become and official collaboration.

Think you’ve heard every single version of Frozen‘s “Let it Go” that is available in the world?

Well, you might be wrong about that because it was revealed that Disney release a record which features 50 different versions of the hit song this past Tuesday (April 15). Originally sang by Idina Menzel (or Adele Dazeem, up to you), the song was first cover by pop star Demi Lovato before the film hit theaters and became a hands down hit following the onslaught of the world covering it and even crooning it out on the car.

Don’t lie, you’ve done it too.

The album will feature version of the song sang in different languages including Arabic, Dutch, Finnish, German Greek and many, many more. The album is currently available on Amazon and can be purchase there. Some behind-the-mic footage from the recordings has been made available; watch it now.

Frozen has now broken so many records, it’s hard to keep it in check. The soundtrack has spent ten weeks at number one on the Billboard 200, has gone platinum selling over 2.1 millions copies, made composer Robert Lopez the youngest person to become an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winner) and parents are shelling out thousand so their children can get official Disney merchandise from the film.

When you have a hit, you have a hit. Lion King, beware, Elsa and Anna are coming for your title.

Watch Demi Lovato’s New Video

Last week, following a publicity stunt on Twitter, Disney unveiled Demi Lovato’s contribution to their new animated film, Frozen. The song titled, “Let it Go” would be featured on the movie’s soundtrack.

Today, the official music video has been released and features the 21-year-old X-Factor judge belting out the ballad in what appears to be a dark, deserted home as well as some scenes from the upcoming film.

The full video can be seen here.

Frozen tells the story of a young woman named Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) who goes on an icy adventure to search for her sister, Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) who had been isolated from her kingdom when they find out that she has supernatural powers. The film also stars Glee’s Jonathan Groff as mountain man, Kristoff.

Frozen is scheduled to be released on November 27.

Demi Lovato’s ‘Frozen’ Contribution Released

Yesterday afternoon, Disney started a hash-tag publicity stunt on Twitter where fans of the upcoming animated film, Frozen, had to get #DemiFrozen trending on the social media’s trending topics,

Die-hards of the not-yet-released film, took to the site and did just what the company had requested in order to get a fine reward.

And what exactly did the company give the fans as a reward? A new song that will be featured on the movie’s soundtrack which was sung by Demi Lovato, hence the #DemiFrozen trend.

Frozen tells the story of a young woman named Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) who goes on an icy adventure to search for her sister, Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) who had been isolated from her kingdom when they find out that she has supernatural powers.

Listen to Demi Lovato’s “Mortal Instruments” Song

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is already heading towards being one of the hottest franchises of 2013 (we’ll be posting picture from the mall tour pretty soon) and with that many fans, the soundtrack is also slated to be one of the most popular of the year as well.

With artists such as AFI, who have already released the music video for their contribution, “17 Crimes,” earlier this month, Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Youngblood Hawke and many more it has a little bit of different genres of music for everyone. Also on the soundtrack is Demi Lovato and now we have the audio of her contribution to the soundtrack, “Heart by Heart.”

The audio of the ballad can be heard below:

The Mortal Instruments is an adventure-fantasy film based on the first book of The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. The film adaption stars Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers and Jemima West and is set to be released in theaters later this week on August 23 while the soundtrack hits shelves on Tuesday, August 20.

City of Bones, introduces us to Clary Fray and the Shadowhunter world. Collins is set to play Clary, while Campbell Bower portrays Jace. The screenplay was written by Pretty Little Liars writer I. Marlene King, and Jessica Postigo.

New ‘X-Factor’ Judges Revealed

In what might come as no surprise to anyone who has been keeping up with the revolving door of judges on FOX, it looks like The X-Factor has finally confirmed that two new judges will be making their debut next season.

Taking the place of Britney Spears and mega-producer LA Reid will be Kelly Rowland and Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. Rowland is most known for being one-third of Destiny’s Child alongside Sasha Fierce herself, Beyonce while Rubio is mostly known for her volatile attitude.

This isn’t the first time that the show has gone through a renovation in the judges’ department. Before Spears and Reid joined the panel with Simon Cowell and pop star, Demi Lovato, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger had the job, but due to lackluster rating, they were given the boot.

“It’s taken more than a decade but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!). Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different,” Simon Cowell said in a statement.

This isn’t the first time that Rowland will be taking a seat as a judge for The X-Factor; she made an appearance on The X-Factor UK back in 2011.

Demi Lovato to Return to ‘X-Factor’

Many were speculating that pop star, Demi Lovato would be leaving The X-Factor after the season ended. Fellow judges, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears both said, ‘see you later’ to the series once the season had come to an end.

Spears was apparently voted out because she was too boring of a judge and thought that it was time to concentrate more on what she is famous for, putting out decent albums (let’s pretend that Scream and Shout song doesn’t exist, okay?). L.A. Reid on the other hand, decided to leave on his own accord to concentrate on his day job, being the chairman of Epic Records.

Lovato was believed to be following in her fellow judges’ path, but it looks like she will once again be joining Simon Cowell at the judges’ table for season three of the show.

“She’s a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year,” Cowell said in a press release. “Even though she can be really, really annoying – I truly enjoyed working with her and so did the artists.”

No definite date has been given for the return of The X Factor, but the show will be back sometime in the Fall.
