Incubus and Deftones to Head Out on Joint Summer Tour

Get ready to have a super packed Summer full of concerts because another big line-up has joined the list.

Today, Incubus and the Deftones jointly announced they will hitting the road together for their month and a half-long co-headlining Summer tour. Death from Above 1979 and the Bots will be supporting the mega-bands for the majority of the trek.

The tour will officially kick off at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI on July 22 and wrap up at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in San Diego on August 30.

Tickets for he massive arena tour will begin on April 24 on Live Nation’s website.

Incubus will be touring in support of their two upcoming EPs, the first being Trust Fall (Side A) due out on May 12. As for the Deftones, they are currently in the process of recording their eighth studio album, the follow-up to 2012’s Koi No Yokan.

2015 Governors Ball Announce Daily Line-Ups

It was just last month that New York’s Governors Ball announced their line up for the 2015 edition of the yearly festival. Today, festival organizers gave festival goers (and potential goers) just what they were waiting for; the daily line-up.

Kicking off the festival on Friday June 5, the headliners will include: Florence + the Machine, Drake, My Morning Jacket, St. Vincent, Chromeo, and The Decemberists.

Entertaining guest throughout the day will be Death from Above 1979, Ratatat, Charli XCX, Vance Joy, and many more.

Headlining Saturday, June 6, will be Deadmau5, Bjork, Ryan Adams, Conor Oberst, and Flume while acts like Kiesza, Little Dragon, Atmosphere, and more will keep concert goers entertained throughout the Summer day.

Closing out the festival on Sunday, June 7, are The Black Keys, Lana Del Rey, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Hot Chip just to name a few.

Single day passes for the three-day festival will go on sale beginning this Friday, Feb. 20 on the festival’s website. Three-day and VIP passes are currently available for purchase while those who have an account with Citibank will be able to get their pre-sale tickets beginning today at noon.

The fifth annual Governors Ball will take place at its usual home of Randall’s Island Park in New York City.

Fun Fun Fun Fest Unveils Line-Up

Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest revealed last night their full line-up for this year’s festivities slated to take place in early November.

According to Rolling Stone, the line-up for the show this year will include Neutral Milk Hotel, Death Cab for Cutie, Nas, Judas Priest, and Death From Above 1979, just to name a few.

But like all festivals, the list does not end there, Death Grips, King Diamond, Girl Talk, Flying Lotus, Sky Ferreira, Alt-J, The New Pornographers and the newly reunited Blood Brothers will be taking the stage. The full line-up can be seen below in the flyer for the event.

The festival will also be hosting a comedy stage, but that line-up won’t be announced until July 1st.

Tickets for Fun Fun Fun Fest, which will take place from Nov. 7-9 at Austin’s Auditorium Shores and Butler Park will go on sale beginning today, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Check out their website for more information.
