Paramore’s fifth studio album hit stores last week and now, it looks like the band is ready to take the new tunes on tour. On Monday (May 15), the Tennessee-founded band announced plans to hit the road this fall. The tour, which has been named “Tour Two,” will kick off on Sept. 6 at the Moran Theater in Jacksonville, Florida and conclude almost a month and a half later on Oct. 17 at the Ryman Auditorium in the band’s hometown of Nashville. Best Coast will open for Paramore for most of the excursion with the exception of all three Florida stops (Jacksonville, Miami, and Orlando).
For fans ready to purchase tickets, there will be a total of three pre-sale options. The first pre-sale option is AT&T’s priority pre-sale which begin on Thursday, May 18, at 10 a.m. local time. More information about that option can be seen here. The second pre-sale option available is for Citi® card members. Those who qualify will get the opportunity to purchase tickets beginning Saturday, May 20, at 10 a.m. local time through Citi’s Private Pass® program. More information about that option can be seen here.
The third and final pre-sale option comes directly from Paramore. Like many bands hitting the road this year, Paramore has joined forces with Ticketmaster to combat bots and scalpers. Fans who are interested in purchasing pre-sale tickets through the band will need to register and become a verified fan. Those who register, and are verified, will receive a unique code on Wednesday, May 17, two hours before the tickets go on sale. Once they get to the pre-sale page to purchase the tickets, they will need to enter the unique code which will guarantee them tickets. Registration to become a verified fan is currently available here and will end on tonight at 10 p.m. PST.
Once all the pre-sales end, general admission tickets for the tour will begin next Wednesday, May 24, at 10 a.m. local time. For more information about the tour, head on over to Paramore’s website here.
In support of After Laughter, Paramore has revealed that they will make several live television appearances. On Wednesday, May 17, the group will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! while on Wednesday, May 24, they will perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden. After a few months away from live television, the band will return to the small screen on Friday, Aug. 25, when they hit the stage as part of Good Morning America‘s 2017 “GMA Summer Concert Series.”
Last week, Paramore announced that they will once again set sail for their third annual PARAHOY! cruise. The 2018 incarnation of the cruise will take place during the weekend of April 6-10, 2018 and will include a roundtrip journey from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas ,and back to Miami.
