Forget about “Summertime Sadness,” this year is all about the Endless Summer frame of mind.
Late last year, Lana Del Rey revealed she would be heading out on a 17-date tour this Summer titled, what else, “The Endless Summer” tour in support of her recently released album, Ultraviolence.
The signer had also confirmed that Hole frontwoman Courtney Love would be joining her on several of the dates as her supporting act. Love had previously leaked the information in a Tweet to followers before the official announcement was made.
Today, singer Grimes confirmed on Instagram that she will be joining the “girl power” tour slated to begin this May.

The tour comes almost a year after the release of Del Rey’s last album, Ultraviolence which she will be supporting on this trek. Last December, Del Rey revealed she was currently in the process of writing music for a new album titled Honeymoon due out sometime this year. She told fans the record will be more like her debut album, Born to Die than Ultraviolence.
As for Grimes, the singer would have a new record to tour, but after fans voiced their displeasure after the first song was released, she scrapped the full album. Grimes also said that the album was “too depressing to tour.” Instead, she decided to head back into the studio to record new music which might be coming out way this year.
And Courtney Love, the musician has been busy with her acting career (FX’s Sons of Anarchy, FOX’s hit show Empire, and most recently ABC’s Revenge), but that doesn’t mean her music has taken a backseat. During the “Endless Summer” tour she will be promoting her latest solo effort, Died Blonde.
