Seaway release music video for “Stubborn Love”

Canadian pop-punk outfit Seaway has returned with a brand new video, just in time for the group’s upcoming spring tour. On Tuesday (April 5), the five-piece unveiled the official video for their song “Stubborn Love.” During a humorous interview between them and Knuckle Puck for Upset Magazine, the guys from Knuckle Puck asked about the song.

Knuckle Puck: Critics have called “Stubborn Love” one of the most heart demolishing, emo-rock-punk songs of this century. What was the writing process like for this god damn masterpiece?

Andrew Eichinger (guitar): Thanks guys. Patrick [Carleton, guitar/vocals] wrote the opening riff a long time ago and we jammed it on tour a bit, but it was never used. I always really liked it so musically, that was my starting point, and the rest of the song kind of naturally fell into place around dat riff. Lyrically, it’s your basic break-up song about getting out of a relationship that’s run its course. More super original content from Seaway here.

Check out the music video for “Stubborn Love” below while the funny interview can be read in full here.

Seaway will be hitting the road later this month on the “Pure Noise” tour alongside Hit The Lights, Boston Manor, Can’t Swim, and Casey Bolles. The complete list of tour dates can be seen below.
