Less than Jake and Pepper to embark on co-headlining tour

Less than Jake has just unveiled massive news for their longtime fans base. On Tuesday (Nov. 15), the Florida-founded ska band announced plans to hit the road in early 2017. The trek will find the Gainesville natives sharing the stage with San Diego’s Pepper for the impending, 30-show tour. The trek will kick off on Jan. 20, 2017 at Gas Monkey in Dallas and wrap up over a month later on Feb. 28 at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL. The excursion will be sponsored by Hamburg, Germany-based football club, St. Pauli.

“Less than Jake is the gasoline to our burning blaze of fun,” said Pepper’s Yesod Williams in a press release. “We are so filled with gratitude to be attacking the U.S. with some of the best humans to ever grace the bunks of a tour bus!”

“Touring with Pepper means only one thing, having a great time. Guaranteed,” adds Less than Jake drummer Vinnie Fiorello. “Both bands bring a summertime energy that will help get through the winter.”

Pre-sale tickets for the shows will go on sale beginning this Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m., local time. After being available for 12 hours, the pre-sale opportunity will end at 10 p.m, local time. General ticket sales will then begin on Friday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. local time. The upcoming trek announcement was revealed a couple of hours after Less than Jake announced that they had joined the Pure Noise Records family. Taking to social media, the band posted that they had a double dose of good news for their fans.

“We’re teaming up with Pure Noise Records to bring you some new LTJ tunes early 2017!,” the band’s Instagram post reads.  “We just received the masters back from the Blasting Room and we’re super happy how everything came out, can’t wait for you to check it out too!” Less than Jake now joins The Story So Far, Senses Fail, Four Year Strong, and State Champs on the California-based record label’s lineup.

At the moment, the band has only teased that the new record is scheduled for an early 2017 release. The untitled record will be the follow-up to the group’s 2013 release, See the Light. The group’s summer tour will actually be a co-headlining trek with Breaking Benjamin. Alter Bridge and Saint Asonia will support the two rock bands during the summer excursion.

All Time Low and You Me at Six to Invade U.K. for Co-Headlining Gigs

What happens when you take two of the bigger names in the pop-punk music world and give them a tour?

You would probably get the All Time Low/You Me at Six co-headlining arena tour which is slated to invade the United Kingdom in February 2015.

The massive tour will begin on Monday, February 9 at Cardiff’s Motopoint Arena and will reportedly wrap up on February 14 at The O2 Arena in London. This tour will be the precursor to All Time Low’s sold out show at Wembley Stadium which will be recorded for the band’s second DVD, the follow-up to 2010’s Straight to DVD.

The Wembley Stadium show which has been titled, “A Night in London with All Time Low” is set to take place on March 20.

As for You Me at Six, after having to cancel their first ever headlining tour in North America earlier this year, the band are ready to begin the take over with the rescheduled tour beginning in September. Joining them for their North American invasion will be The Downtown Fiction, Young Guns, and Stars in Stereo.

Tickets for the U.K. co-headlining tour will go on sale beginning Friday August 29. No word on whether those in the respected fan clubs will get a pre-sale option.
