So What?! Music Festival Unveil More Artists for 2016

Pop-punks fans rejoice and start booking your trips to Texas because the So What?! Music Festival keeps getting better. About two weeks after their last announcement, the Texas-based music festival has unveiled more artists for their ever-expanding lineup. On Tuesday morning(Dec. 15), festival organizers took to social media to reveal the identities of the newly added performers.

Silverstein, Dance Gavin Dance, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, Miss May I, Slaves, and many more have been added to the already lengthy lineup. During the last reveal earlier this month, So What?! organizers confirmed that New Found Glory, Bayside, Being As An Ocean, Emery, Saosin featuring Anthony Green on vocals would be heading down to the Lone Star State for the spring festivities. Before that recently reunited Underoath, the Devil Wears Prada, Beartooth, and others were announced.

The ninth annual So What?! Music Festival is scheduled to take place during the weekend of March 19-20, 2016 at the QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX. Tickets for the weekend festivities are currently on sale. If the lineup is any indication of sales, then it will be surprising if it doesn’t sell out or come close to.

Vans Warped Tour UK Announce 2015 Line-Up

Warped Tour fans in the United Kingdom, the list of artists slated to perform at the 2015 Warped Tour UK have now been announced.

The UK incarnation of the North American based traveling festival will be co-headlined by Asking Alexandria (with their new singer) and Black Veil Brides; two bands who are also headlining this year’s Warped Tour. In addition to the co-headliners, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Forever Came Calling, Memphis May Fire, Metro Station, The Rocket Summer, and many more will also play the show slated to take place on Oct. 18 at London’s Alexandra Palace.

Warped Tour festival organizers revealed last month that they would taking the traveling show to the UK once again this year, but at the time of the revelation, the identity of the artists was being kept under wraps. Early bird tickets for the show went on sale last month.

Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Premiere “The Other Line” Video

Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! announced last month they would be releasing their third studio album, Get Lost, Find Yourself in May and quickly released the first single for it, “Playing Dead.”

Now, the French band have released the music video for their second single, “The Other Line.”

The video features the group playing in what appears to be an abandoned subway tunnel with footage of city images like a park, buildings, and even a subway, projected onto the tunnel wall behind them as they play the track.

Get Lost, Find Yourself is set to be released on May 19 through Fearless Records. Pre-orders are currently available on the band’s website.

In support of the new album, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! will be heading out on their “Get Lost, Find Yourself Tour” which is set to begin on May 1 at San Diego’s House of Blues.

Joining them on the road will be Hit the Lights, Forever Came Calling, To the Wind, and In Her Own Words.

Stream Hit the Lights’ ‘Summer Bones”

Hit the Lights new album is set to be released next week, but now the band are giving fans the chance to stream Summer Bones, in full, a couple of days ahead of time.

Hit the Lights introduced listeners to the first single off of the upcoming record, “Fucked Up,” back in January. At the time, frontman Nick Thompson said the track was “inspired by the fear older generations tend to have of a younger generation that they can’t understand or relate to.”

Summer Bones is set to be released on Tuesday (March 24) through Pure Noise Records.

But don’t think Hit the Lights won’t be doing anything in the meantime (the band played a few dates of Motion City Soundtrack’s “Commit This to Memory Tenth Anniversary Tour”).

Last week, it was announced they will be joining Forever Came Calling, To The Wind, and In Her Own Words on Chunk! No Captain Chunk!’s upcoming “Get Lost, Find Yourself Spring Tour” set to kick off on May 1 at San Diego’s House of Blues.

Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! will be releasing a new album titled Get Lost, Find Yourself this Spring.

The French band revealed the news yesterday online, giving fans the first look at not only the album art, but also the tracklist for the upcoming third record. Check it all out below.

Get Lost, Find Yourself will be released on May 19 through Fearless Records.This will be the band’s first record since the departure of drummer Jonathan Donnaes in August of last year.

In support of the new record, the band will be heading out on tour with Hit The Lights, Forever Came Calling, To The Wind, and In Her Own Words beginning on May 1 at San Diego’s House of Blues. The tour will then wrap up on May 30 at the Boardwalk in Sacramento. Full tour dates can be found on the flyer below.

Bled Fest Unveil Complete 2015 Line-Up

Bled Fest have been unveiling their line-up for the 2015 edition of the one day festival sporadically over the last couple on months, and today, organizers have revealed the complete line-up for the festival.

Artists making the trip to Howell, MI for this year’s event include Real Friends, Touche Amore, Modern Baseball, The Early November, Chunk, No Captain Chunk, Hit the Lights, Pianos Become the Teeth and many more.

Bled Fest will take place on Saturday, May 23 at the Hartland Performing Arts Center. Tickets are still available (as are VIP packages) for those interested in making the trip to Michigan in May for the show.

Fearless Records Release ‘Punk Goes 90s: Vol. 2’ Track List

Earlier this week, a picture from a magazine revealed the list of artists that will be featured on the upcoming Punk Goes… series, Punk Goes 90s: Volume II.

Today, Fearless Records has officially revealed the full list of artists that will be on the new compilation as well as the tracks for the 90s that they will be covering. Up until now, the only band and their cover that was known was Get Scared and their cover of Lit’s biggest hit, “My Own Worst Enemy” which became the lead single for the compilation.
