Chiodos to Head Out on Short ‘Holiday’ Tour

Chiodos have been a little quiet since September when news broke they would be down two members. As quickly as the announcement was made, the band announced the replacements and everything was back to normal.

Now, more good news for fans of the band; they will be heading out on a holiday tour in December. The slight tour will being on Dec. 10 in Pontiac, MI at The Crofoot and wrap up on Dec. 18 in Cleveland at the Agora Theater.

Also headlining the short tour will be We Came as Romans with special guests Sleepwave and Slaves.

This holiday tour will come two months after they wrapped up their gig on A Day to Remember’s “Parks and Devastation” tour which ended earlier this month (Oct. 11).

In other news, Chiodos have recently been confirmed to be performing at the South by So What? Festival in March at the QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX.

South By So What? Unleash Second List of Bands

South By So What? have released the second list of artist who will be taking the trip to Texas in late March.

The second unveil of the annual festival which will be turning eight in 2015, recently announced bands such as Atreyu, Chiodos, For Today, Hatebreed, I See Stars, Motionless in White, Superhaven, This Wild Life, and many more.

One of the treats to come from the newly revealed list comes courtesy of Cartel. The Georgia-based band will be performing their debut album, 2005’s Chroma in full during their setThat’s one way to celebrate the tenth anniversary of your break-out record.

South By So What? will take place during the weekend of March 20-22 at the QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX. Tickets are currently on sale, so maybe it’s time to start buying them.

Chiodos Drop Off “Crowd Surf America Tour” Due to Medical Emergency

If you were one of the many fans who were looking forward to seeing Chiodos on their co-headlining tour with Blessthefall and support from I Killed the Prom Queen and Capture the Crown (also known as the “Crowd Surf America Tour”), then bad news is coming in your direction.

The band sadly had to announce that they will be dropping off the remaining tour stops due to a medical emergency on behalf of one of the guys.

In a letter to fans posted earlier in the day, the band revealed that guitarist Thomas Erak has had a recurring medical emergency that needed to be attended to immediately. due to the urgency of the medical emergency, the band figured it was in the best interest of all of them to just miss the last seven dates of the “Crowd Surf America Tour” than soldier on without Erak.

In the post, the band do say that they look forward to “seeing everyone on the upcoming Parks and Devastation Tour” which they will be heading out on with A Day to Remember, Bring Me the Horizon, and Motionless in White which is slated to begin on September 4 in Pittsburgh.

“Chiodos will be leaving the Crowd surf America Tour for the remaining dates from Rochester, NY through Columbia, MO.

We are sorry to our fans as well as the bands on the tour Bless the Fall, I Killed the Prom Queen and Capture the Crown. Our guitarist Thomas Erak has had a reoccurring medical emergency that needs immediate attention and we want to support him in his recovery.  

We plan to make up these dates this year. We appreciate our fans continued support and look forward to seeing everyone on the upcoming Parks and Devastation tour with A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, and Motionless in White.”

A Day to Remember, Chiodos and Bring Me The Horizon to Tour

A Day to Remember have announced plans to head out on tour this Fall for a month. Going along for the trek across the United States will be Bring Me the Horizon and Chiodos.
 
The tour, which has been named the “Parks and Devasation Tour,” will begin on September 4 in Pittsburgh at Stage AE Outdoor and will go across the U.S. and wrap up with a two-day stop in Orlando on October 10 and 11 at the Hard Rock.

Chiodos and blessthefall to Head Out on Tour

Summer means Summer tours and now, Chiodos have announced plans to head out on tour with blessthefall and I Killed the Prom Queen.

The tour is slated to begin on July 25 in Oklahoma at the Diamond and hit up many other cities in the United States before wrapping up on September 20 in Kitchener, ON at the Koi Music Fest.

Chiodos Release Sixth Song From ‘Devil’

Chiodos made it known that they will be streaming all of the tracks on their new album for fans to hear before the release of it.

Today, the band premiered the sixth installment from that, a new track titled “Under Your Halo” which first appeared on USA Today’s website. At this point in time, the band have released almost half of the tracks on the album including “Ole Fishlips is Dead Now,” “3 AM,” Behvis Bullock,” “Duct Tape” and lead single, “Why the Munsters Matter.”

Their upcoming new album, Devil is set to be released on April 1st through their imprint at Razor & Tie. In support of Devil, they will be heading out on the Devil’s Dance tour with Emarosa, Hands Like Houses, Our Last Night and ’68 beginning in April.

Chiodos fans must have been really good this past weekend because the band have just revealed several good pieces of information.

First, the band released a new song titled, “Why The Munsters Matter”; the second track to be released from their upcoming new album, Devil. Then they followed up that news by announcing that they will be hitting the road for their The Devil Dance Tour. Joining them on the tour will be Emarosa, Our Last Night, Hands Like Houses and ’68.

The last piece of news to come out of the band’s camp has to do with a special treat fans will get if they ordered Devil through iTunes. According to the band, if you order the new album through iTunes, you will receive six instant gratification tracks leading up to the album’s release. The band have announced that they will be pulling a Fall Out Boy and will be releasing videos for every track on the album.
