Wiz Khalifa Gives Fall Out Boy Track the “Boys of Zummer” Treatment

With Fall Out Boy announcing plans to head out on tour with Wiz Khalifa (and Hoodie Allen) later on this Summer, the band and the rapper have teamed up to remix one of their newly released songs from American Beauty/American Psycho.

The song, the weird but makes you want to get up and dance, “Uma Thurman,” got the “Boys of Zummer” treatment by Khalifa including some EDM beats and, of course, rapping.

Check out the remixed version of the song below.

The “Boys of Zummer” tour will kick off on June 10 in Camden, NJ at the Susquehanna Bank Center and wrap up on Aug. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood.

Full tour dates can be seen here while general ticket sales have already begun.

Fall Out Boy to Tour with Unlikely Companions in 2015

image

Fall Out Boy promised big news for their fans a few weeks ago, though we were led to believe that it would just be the complete stream of their upcoming new record.

Today, the band kept their promise of big news by unveiling their new amphitheater tour schedule for 2015.

Happening a year after their ultra successful “MONUMENTOUR” with Paramore, the Chicago band have announced the “Boys of Zummer Tour.”

Heading out on the tour alongside the American Beauty/ American Psycho dudes will be rapper Hoodie Allen and Wiz Khalifa.

Yes. We did say Wiz Khalifa as in the “Black and Yellow” rapper.

If you just did a double take about the line-up for the two month tour, you aren’t alone. No matter the opening acts, the tour will begin on June 10 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ and then wrap up on Aug. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Check out the full list of tour dates (and the band’s decision to snub Florida) below.
