Last year, Iron Maiden embarked on their “Book of Souls” word tour with only a handful of dates for those in North America. Understandably, many fans were upset with the handful of dates resulting in the iconic metal band promising to return in the new year. On Thursday (Jan. 19), Iron Maiden kept their promise and announced a North American summer trek.
“The Book of Souls 2017” summer tour will kick off on June 3 at the Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia and wrap up a month and a half later on July 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. In addition to several United States stops, the band will also venture north to Canada for several dates including stops in Toronto and Quebec City. Grammy Award-winning metal band, Ghost will join Iron Maiden during the complete summer tour. Last year, the Swedish metal band released their Popestar EP and heavily toured behind the release.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale beginning next Friday, Jan. 27. Members of Iron Maiden’s fan club will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public. In addition to tickets, there will also be several “upgrade” packages which will feature early entry, food, exclusive gear, and a chance to win prizes. For more information about that, head on over to Iron Maiden’s website here. For now, the complete list of tour dates can be seen below.
