The Strokes give creepy infomercial vibes in ‘Bad Decisions’

Another new song from the Strokes?

Has Christmas come early?

No matter because we’re not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

On Tuesday (Feb. 18), the New York-founded band unleashed another new track from their upcoming new album. Titled “Bad Decisions,” the song comes in at almost five minutes, you know, the typical runtime for a Strokes song.

Watch the music video for “Bad Decisions,” which gives some serious creepy 1950s/1960s infomercial vibes above.

“Bad Decisions” is the second official single from the band’s upcoming sixth studio effort, The New Abnormal. The forthcoming release is due out April 10. Pre-save and pre-order options are currently available on the band’s website.

The New Abnormal is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2017’s Comedown Machine.

Last week, the group formally announced the new album by releasing its first single “At the Door.”

To coincide with the record, the group announced plans to embark on a short North American outing in March. The gigs include stops at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on March 5, the WaMu Theatre in Seattle on March 9, and the Forum in Los Angeles on March 14.

Before announcing the three solo shows, the group had been confirmed for several music festivals, including III Points in Miami, Shaky Knees in Atlanta, Primavera Sound in Spain, Corona Capital in Mexico, and more. The Strokes upcoming tour itinerary can be found here.
