The Front Bottoms Get Touristy in “Summer Shandy” Music Video

With the release of their new album right around the corner, The Front Bottoms have returned, releasing another song from their impending new record, Back on Top.

The music video is for the track “Summer Shandy,” which comes at a fitting time since summer is about to wrap and their album will be released at the tail-end of the season.

The music video for the song is more like a 15-minute movie following the group as they explore Fairbanks, AK doing touristy things like taking a dip in some hot springs, checking out Santa Claus Village, hanging with some sled dogs, watching the Aurora Borealis (very much like the photo above) as well as meeting some local natives for some dancing and wilderness lessons. Now, who’s ready to get on a plane and visit Alaska?

Anyway, check out the music video or shall we say the movie for “Summer Shandy.”

“Summer Shandy” joins previously released tracks, “Cough it Out,” “HELP,” and “West Virginia” on Back on Top which is scheduled to be released next Friday, Sept. 18, through Fueled By Ramen. In support of the release of the album, the New Jersey band will be heading out on a North American tour this fall as well as an European tour at the beginning of 2016.

The complete list of tour dates can be seen here.
