Fall Out Boy Announce “Wintour is Coming”

Winter is coming and soon, so will Fall Out Boy. On Monday (Oct. 12), the Chicago-based band revealed that they will be hitting the road once again in early 2016. The band will visit several United States’ cities on this tour as well as one day in Puerto Rico. Joining the band on the month-long trek will be PVRIS and AWOLNATION.

The “Wintour is Coming Tour” will officially kick off on Feb. 25 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan (only Fall Out Boy will be performing at that stop) and wrap up on March 26 at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. Pre-sales will begin on Wednesday (Oct. 14) at 10 a.m. local time, but there’s a catch to the pre-sale; you need to have a pre-sale code.

To obtain the pre-sale code, potential concert-goers need to go to Fall Out Boy’s website and sign up for their mailing list by 11:59 p.m. EST tonight. More information about special add-ons like VIP upgrades, VIP meet and greets, and such will come at a later dates. General ticket sales will begin on Friday (Oct. 16).

While the tour dates might be enough to hold fans over until their stop in 2016, the four-piece also revealed that they will be releasing a new version of their latest single “Irresistible” on Friday. The new version will feature vocals from pop star Demi Lovato. In a post on Twitter, the band writes about Lovato, “‘Irresistible’ always felt like it could become something else. Something exciting, strange, beyond. [Demi] has one of the most powerful voices today. We worked on ‘Irresistible’ together and she got it.”

Until then check out the full list of tour dates for the “Wintour is Coming Tour” below.

Fashion Meets Music Festival Announce 2015 Daily Schedules

Ohio’s Fashion Meets Music Festival is slated to kick off its second year in early September, and with less than a month before the world of music and fashion combine to put on a heck of a show, festival organizers have unveiled the daily schedules for the two day festival.

The official list of artists for this year’s event was released back in March and included a mix of acts from different genres to give everyone a little bit of something to look forward to. Young the Giant, Ludacris, AWOLNATION, Taking Back Sunday, O.A.R, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, St. Vincent, and many more will hit one of the four stages at the festival.

The complete daily line-up for the festival can be seen below, so make sure to plan accordingly so you can see everyone that you want.

The Fashion Meets Music Festival is slated to take place during Labor Day weekend (Sept.5-6) at Columbus’ Arena District. Tickets for the festival are still on sale, but unlike last year, all the events are ticketed; last year there was a mix of ticketed and non-ticketed events which probably led to major headaches.

Reading and Leeds Unveil 60+ New Artists to 2015 Line-Up

image

Just when we though Reading and Leeds had finished unveiling their complete line-up for the 2015 incarnation of the yearly festival, organizers has officially given the completed line-up today.

Back in February when organizers released the flyer for the weekend-long event, a big chunk of the line-up had been revealed making some assume (like us) that those were all the people heading to the United Kingdom for the Bank Holiday. One thing that did not escape us were the two “special guest TBA” spots and the promise that a lot more acts would be added.

Now, those vacant spots have been revealed as well as over 60+ new acts that include Alt-J, Against Me!, The Gaslight Anthem, AWOLNATION, Modern Baseball, The Bots, Atreyu, PVRIS, and many more.

Check out the new additions to the line-up below.

Reading and Leeds will take place during the weekend of August 28-30. Tickets are on sale, but if you haven’t already purchased them already, it might be a good idea to do so now or really soon.
