Label this under “loose lips sink ships.”
Almost a week before the official reveal date for the Austin City Limits Music Festival, Muse frontman, Matt Bellamy let the cat out of the bag that they will be headlining this year’s festivities which are to take place over the course of two weekends; October 4 to 6 and October 11 to 13 to be exact.
The band apparently let the information slip while they were being interviewed by Montreal radio station CHOM 97.7. When revealing their upcoming tour plans, Bellamy said that the band will finish off their tour by heading on down to Austin’s Zilker Park to “top off the bill.”
But ACL isn’t the only festival the rocking trio have schedule for this year. They will also be heading to Japan for the Summer Sonic Festival and then to Brazil for the Rock in Rio festival all the while touring around the US.
