Coldplay Debut ‘Always in My Head’ on Fallon

It feels like Coldplay are going to release all the songs from their upcoming new album Ghost Stories before the record even hits store. To this date they have released lead single “Magic,” “Midnight,” “Another’s Arms,” “A Sky Full of Stars” last week, and yesterday while performing on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show, they debut one more song titled “Always in My Head.”

According to sources, “Always in My Head” made its debut a while back when the band performed at the inaugural iTunes Festival in Austin back in March. The video from the show can be seen here.

Though the band are putting out this new album on May 19, frontman Chris Martin’s separation from his wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow has made bigger news since they “uncoupling” claim was made public through her GOOP website. Martin does say that he blames himself for the split, but seeing pictures of the two of them hanging out since the initial announcement seems to debunk their claims of separation, but then again, who really knows what’s going on there.

During their recent show at New York’s Beacon Theater, the band dedicated their song “Fix You” from X&Y to fellow Brit, Mick Jagger who is reportedly still grieving over the loss of his girlfriend, model L’Wren Scott.

Coldplay Perform Two New Tracks at iTunes Fest

Last night, Coldplay took to the stage to perform at the inaugural iTunes Festival at SXSW. During their set, the band went on to perform two new songs from their upcoming, surprise new albumĀ Ghost Stories.

The tracks are titledĀ “Always in My Head” and “Another’s Arms” which both can be heard below.

The British band announced they would be releasing their sixth studio album after releasing two new tracks on the internet. When the first song, “Midnight” was released, not much was thought about it since the band had previously released a singular track the year before for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Soundtrack.

When they released a second song off the album titled “Magic,” it was confirmed by them that a new record will be released this May. Ghost Stories marks the first new album with new music since 2011’s Mylo Xyloto.
