Breaking Benjamin announce acoustic tour

Breaking Benjamin’s acoustic tour was so successful earlier this year, that it looks like the band is ready to do it again. On Wednesday (March 9), the rock band announced plans to hit the road, acoustically, once more. The newly revealed leg of the acoustic tour is set to kick off on April 19 at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA and wrap up a couple of weeks later on May 9 at the District in Sioux Falls, SD. Tickets for the acoustic trek will go on sale beginning this Friday, March 11, on the band’s website.

In a recent interview, frontman Ben Burnley revealed why the group likes to turn things down and do acoustic shows. “We have a lot of touring with the electric full band thing. We like to do these small acoustic tours just to kinda break it up a little bit for us, to kinda keep our chops up, because we can’t rely on any effects or anything,” Burnley begins.

“We have to keep our meter right, our chords right and all that stuff, because it really comes through if you make a mistake. It keeps us tight as a band. It’s different for us to do and fun! It’s something that the fans to seem to really enjoy, which is the most important thing.” The list of acoustic tour dates can be seen below.

4/19 — Lancaster, Pa. — Chameleon Club
4/26 — Birmingham, Ala. — Iron City
4/27 — Chattanooga, Tenn. — Track 29
4/28 — Knoxville, Tenn. — Tennessee Theatre
4/30 — Toledo, Ohio — Stranahan Theater
5/1 — Kalamazoo, Mich. — State Theatre
5/3 — Columbia, Mo. — Blue Note
5/4 — Wichita, Kan. — Cotillion Ballroom

But for those who aren’t too keen on the whole “acoustic tour” thing, don’t worry because the band will be bringing back the loud during the summer. As it was announced earlier this year, Breaking Benjamin will hit the road alongside Disturbed for a massive summer tour. Alter Bridge and Saint Asonia will playing supporting act during the complete excursion. The complete list of the summer tour dates can be seen here. Both these upcoming treks will be in support of Breaking Benjamin’s recently released record, Dark Before Dawn.

Sleeping with Sirens to Head Out on Acoustic Tour

How does a band that was on a world tour just a month ago follow-up the lengthy trek? By going back on tour, of course.

Sleeping with Sirens announced last night on Facebook that they will be following up their ultra successful co-headlining tour (with Pierce the Veil) by going on another, shorter North American tour. The adventure had been named the “We Like it Quiet Acoustic Tour,” a take on one of their new songs off of Madness, “We Like it Loud.”

The tour will not only feature the Florida band, but also The Summer Set and Nick Santino, formerly of Rocket to the Moon.

Tickets for the show will go on sale beginning today, at 2 p.m. EST on Sleeping with Sirens’ website.

The tour will kick off on June 4 at San Diego’s SOMA and wrap up a couple of weeks later on June 22 in Sleeping with Sirens’ hometown of Orlando at The Social.
