When Lady Gaga invited us to Chromatica, she was not kidding.
On Thursday (March 5), the pop star announced plans to take her futuristic world (aka her new studio album) on the road later this summer for a couple of weeks. Dubbed the Chromatica Ball Tour (you know, her usual tour naming convention), the upcoming excursion will include six stops; two in Europe and four in North America.
The Chromatica Ball Tour begins on July 24 in Paris and concludes on Aug. 19 in New Jersey.
The two European shows include the Stade de France in Paris on July 24 and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on July 30.
Gaga will then cross the pond for the four North American gigs, which include Boston’s Fenway Park on Aug. 5, Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Aug. 9, Chicago’s Wrigley Field on Aug. 14, and East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium on Aug. 19.
Tickets for Paris, London, and Toronto go on sale next Friday, March 13. The remaining gigs (Boston, Chicago, and East Rutherford) go on sale Monday, March 16.
Every ticket purchased for the North American stops will include a CD copy of Chromatica. As if that wasn’t enough, Gaga also revealed that for every United States show, $1 from each ticket will be donated to her Born This Way Foundation.
Now that’s how you give back to your Little Monsters.
Last week, Lady Gaga confirmed the upcoming release of their sixth studio album. Titled Chromatica, the record is due out April 10 through Interscope Records.
Pre-orders for Chromatica are available here. Most of the Chromatica bundles include a digital version of the forthcoming studio effort.
Before announcing the new album, Gaga gave her fans a taste of the record with its lead single, “Stupid Love.”
