The 1975 reschedule February 2020 tour dates for October 2020

If you live in Europe and were pumped to see the 1975 in the spring, then we have some bad news for you guys.

On Wednesday (Dec. 11), the British band made the disheartening news that due to complications with their upcoming new album, their European tour set for February 2020 will now happen in October.

“Due to the time needed to complete the recording of the upcoming album Notes on a Conditional Form, we have made the decision to move the 1975’s EU tour from February 2020 to October 2020,” the band posted on social media.

All tickets purchased for the February dates will remain valid. For those who will not be able to attend the newly rescheduled shows (because life does happen after all), refunds will be available at the original point of purchase.

The newly rescheduled tour dates include gigs in Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Berlin, Zurich, Milan, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Oslo.

In addition to the postponed dates, the foursome has also added four new stops to the rescheduled itinerary: Oct. 8 at Le Zénith in Paris, Oct. 21 at Stodola in Warsaw, Oct. 23 at Gasometer in Vienna, and Oct. 26 at Saku Surrhall in Tallinn.

While a slew of the band’s European shows was rescheduled, it looks like they will still appear at Australia’s Laneway Festival and headline their United Kingdom shows.

The 1975’s much-anticipated new album Notes on a Conditional Form is due out Feb. 21, 2020, through Dirty Hit / Interscope. Pre-orders are available for purchase here.

The band’s full statement about the postponed shows can be read below:
