Some may wonder what the inside of The 1975 frontman Matt Healy’s head may look like. We want to say it may look a lot like the band’s latest music video.
On Thursday (Nov. 21), the British band unleashed the arthouse-inspired clip for their track “Frail State of Mind.” The four-minute video finds Healy in a room surrounded by a mess of paper, some random computer-generated designs, and scenes that look like they came straight out of several artsy music videos from the 90s.
We’re going to assume the clip is supposed to be a visual representation of what’s going on in Healy’s head at any given time.

“Frail State of Mind” officially made its debut in October on Zane Lowe’s Apple Radio Beats 1 show.
The recently released tune joins “People” and “The 1975” (which features a monologue from 16-year-old climate change activist and current BAMF Greta Thunberg) on the quartet’s upcoming fourth studio album.

The 1975 are currently on the road for a short North American outing. The excursion began last weekend and will conclude at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis on Dec. 13. This upcoming weekend, the four-piece will join a slew of bands at the 2019 incarnation of 104.3 The Shark’s Riptide Music Festival
