Tool unveil plans to embark on a fall time tour later this year

A new Tool album AND an upcoming tour? If you’re a massive Tool fan, then it’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas!

On Friday (Aug. 30), the iconic rockers unveiled plans to embark on a fall time tour in support of their recently released record. Dubbed “Tool in Concert,” the lengthy trek will find the act performing at venues across the continent throughout October and November.

The six-week outing will include stops in Denver, Salt Lake City, Milwaukee, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Boston, Newark, and more.

The newly announced itinerary will also include two double-night engagements; one at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (Oct. 20 and 21) and the other at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto (Nov. 11 and 12).

The fall time tour kicks off with the band’s appearance at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento and wraps up on Nov. 25 at the Capitol One Arena in Washington D.C.

The Killing Joke will play the role of special guest throughout the tour.

Tickets go on sale next Friday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. local time. Tool Army members will get access to a limited number of tickets beginning Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Tool released their much-anticipated fifth studio album FEAR INOCULUM today (Aug. 30). By the looks of several early reviews, it seems like the 13-year wait was well worth it.

FEAR INOCULUM is the follow-up to Tool’s 2006 release 10,000 Days.
