Charli XCX joins forces with HAIM on ‘Warm’

It’s almost Labor Day weekend, and Charli XCX is here to help you celebrate (unless you’re in South Florida like us) with a brand new song.

On Friday (Aug. 30), the musician unleashed the latest single from her upcoming third studio album. Titled “Warm,” the almost four-minute tune finds the singer joining forces with HAIM and questioning the status of a romantic relationship.

“It’s about unrequited love or more just like when you are in it with someone, and they are a player, and you aren’t in that zone, and you just can’t get on the same page,” Charli says about the new song in a press statement

“Danielle [Haim], Este [Haim] and Alana [Haim] came over to our studio house, and they wrote their part, we were in LA when we did that, and I’m just very happy we got to collaborate.”

“Warm” joins a slew of previously released tracks such as “Gone” with Christine and the Queens, “1999” with Troye Sivan, “Blame It on Your Love” with Lizzo, and “Cross You Out” with Sky Ferreira on Charli.

Charli is due out Sept. 13 through Atlantic Records. Pre-orders for the album are available here.

The 15-track record is the follow-up to 2014’s Sucker.

Earlier this summer, Charli announced plans to embark on a fall tour. The Charli LIVE World Tour will invade North America throughout September and October.

At the time of publication, a handful of shows have been classified as sold out. Those gigs include Emo’s in Austin on Sept. 24, Showbox Market in Seattle on Oct. 4, the House of Blues in Chicago on Oct. 12, the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. on Oct. 18, Union Transfer in Philadelphia on Oct. 19, and her final tour stop at Terminal 5 in New York on Oct. 22.

Tommy Genesis, Brooke Candy, Dorian Electra, and Allie X will support Charli on select dates.
