Lil Wayne threatens to leave current blink-182 tour during his set

Lil Wayne has responded to all the head-scratching questions surrounding his “speech” at last night’s stop of his co-headlining tour with blink-182.

“Yesterday was krazy! But I want all my fans to know I won’t be quitting this tour!” the rapper posted on Twitter.

He continues: “I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182. Bangor, ME See you tomorrow!”

We guess that kind of answers one of the zillions of questions we still have.

Well, it looks like Lil Wayne isn’t feeling blink-182’s current tour or their fanbase.

On Friday (July 12), a video from the Bristow, Virginia stop of the tour surfaced online with the rapper stopping midway through his set to speak with the audience. Instead of it being a form of banter or some kind of interaction with those in the crowd, the rapper all but threatens to leave the tour.

In a fan-shot video (which can be seen above), Lil Wayne asks for forgiveness before telling the crowd that it’s just not his “swag.” He continues by saying he doesn’t know how much longer he’ll last on tour and ends it by saying that it might be his final show on the outing.

“Please forgive me, but I am so not used to performing to a crowd, and there’s not too many, you know like still, that’s not my swag,” Lil Wayne can be heard saying in the video.

He continues: “I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour but make some noise for blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night, though, let’s go.”

At the time of publication, neither camp has released an official statement on the matter. For those following the summertime excursion, the co-headlining tour just kicked off at the end of June.

While there is no show tonight, the tour is supposed to take over the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine tomorrow night with a month-and-a-half of shows still on the itinerary. We guess we just have to sit back and see what happens.

It doesn’t seem like many fans would be upset if Lil Wayne was to leave the tour; the initial reactions to the lineup we not exactly welcoming to the rapper’s addition to the pop-punk-centric lineup.
