Slipknot share ‘Unsainted’ music video, confirm sixth studio album’s title

The wait is officially over, maggot!

On Thursday (May 16), the Iowa-founded band unleashed the music video for their brand new tune, “Unsainted.” The dark and very Slipknot-like clip features the band finally revealing what their new set of masks for this iteration of their musical journey look like. Like the music video for “All Out Life” which was released in October, the music video was directed by the group’s drummer Shawn “Clown” Crahan.

“Unsainted” is the first single off the band’s sixth studio effort, We Are Not Your Kind. We Are Not Your Kind is due out Aug. 9 through Roadrunner Records. Pre-orders are available for purchase here.

As per the track listing for the upcoming album, it looks like “All Out Life” was, in fact, a one-off single, though fans (and we) were convinced it would be featured on the new album.

We Are Not Your Kind is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2014’s .5: The Gray Chapter.

In support of the album’s release, the group will embark on their 2019 Knotfest Roadshow tour with Volbeat, Behemoth, and Gojira. The 29-stop outing begins on July 26 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California and concludes a month and a half later on Sept. 8 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in the Woodlands, Texas. The full list of dates can be found here.
