Watch Peter Parker try to navigate a post-‘Endgame’ world in the latest ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ trailer

Spoiler alert! If you haven’t seen “Avengers: Endgame” (we know there are people out there who haven’t), then we’re going to advise you to turn around and leave because we don’t want to ruin anything for you. If you don’t believe us, check out Tom Holland’s warning at the beginning of the video above.

Okay. Are we good? Great. Let’s continue.

On Monday (May 6), the second official trailer for “Spider-Man: Far From Home” was released. The trailer for the final Marvel Cinematic Universe phase three film begins with our favorite friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man feeling the blowback from the final scenes of “Endgame.”

“Everywhere I go, I see his face. I just really miss him,” Peter Parker admits to Tony Stark’s longtime friend/bodyguard/driver Happy Hogan.

“Yeah, I miss him too. I don’t think Tony would have done what he did if he didn’t know you were going to be here after he was gone,” Happy replies.

After stopping a bunch of crooks inside of a restaurant decked out in his Iron-Spider gear, one of the police officers joke “You going to be the next Iron Man now?” a call back to the fact that the original Iron Man is now gone.

But don’t expect the almost-three-minute trailer to be full of doom and gloom.

We’re finally introduced to Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio who, according to Nick Fury, is “from Earth, just not our Earth.” That small line about a “multiverse” may have just signaled that we may get to see Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales in the future (who knows, right?).

One of the biggest takes from the trailer is that NO ONE wants to talk to Nick Fury if they don’t have to. Happy notices Fury is calling Peter’s phone and neither of them wants to answer it. They end up playing hot potato with the device before Peter sends the eye-patch-wearing former director of SHIELD to voicemail.

“You sent Nick Fury to voicemail?!” Happy says as Peter makes his way out the door.

As with most action movie trailers, we watch as Peter is set on saving his friends as the Elementals cause havoc around them with MJ revealing that she does, in fact, know his secret identity.

As the trailer comes to an end, Fury does leave Peter with one final thought: “Are you going to step up or not?”
